Aside from last game, Goodwin has made a very concerted effort to pass the ball. He's had games earlier this year where he deserved more assists but was hurt by our team's lack of shooting around him due to Jeff's rotations.

I mean he is definitely a high IQ player. That seems about right.

I cannot stand Hornacek's incredibly short leash on players. He pulled Brown after just two plays. How is a player ever supposed to improve if you take him out after less than a minute.

Get ready for the fourth quarter meltdown. I love the great play but we don't need to win tonight.

I suspect that might happen, given their experience and our lack of it, but it will be interesting to see how it plays out.

He hates NCSt. players, man.

paul milsap mvp?

Top 10. I advocated trading for him forever, but some, or at least one person said they didn't like him because he was undersized and talked about him being dominated against the Lakers bigs in the playoffs back in the day.

The guy is their best player easily. No team is going to be nearly as good without their best player.

Milsap's really great, but the Hawks imo are and have been better than they've shown thus far in this game without him. They're very solid and deep all around, and typically very well coached. Budenholzer has them playing great team ball the vast majority of the time. He was a tremendous hire.

its the inconsistency of it that is the problem. Some players get pulled, others get to do whatever they want

I was wondering where you were and when you would chime in. It was tough to find a time tonight though I suppose.

Bad decision by Schroeder. Always take the layup. 3s are for secondary breaks or when you don't have the layup on the break.

Booker is being guarded heavily in this game.. Which is deservingly so. Goodwin tried to pass to him a few times but defender is close by.

Goodwin is also facing nice defense from Teague and Schroeder but he is up top actually intending to pass the ball to an open man... Unlike other PGs who is waiting for the lane to clear up so they can drive or shoot... No intention of rotating the ball.
