Cena being out is actually going to hurt the WWE but help them at the same time.

Its helps them because it finally gives the WWE no choice but to build other characters or infiltrate new blood. This is long overdue.

On the flipside, it really does hurt because the WWE has so many stars hurt right now.

Royal Rumble predications:
- AJ Styles debut
- Bray wins Rumble/Title
- Roman lasts to last 3.
- HHH screws Roman
- Brock gets eliminated by whole Wyatt family

man that ending should have been changed seeing how everyone been predicting it for the last two weeks.

I would have had the last 3 in the ring Reins, Ambrose and HHH..

(shocking twist) Ambrose eliminates Reigns..

HHH extends his hand to shake Ambrose hand.. they shake hands!

they both walk over to the ropes as if Ambrose gonna exit over the top rope so HHH gets the easy win

Ambrose puts both hands on the top rope like hes gonna exit.. he turns gives HHH 2 middle fingers and hits him with the Stone Cold Stunner!! out of nowhere lol bounced his ass out the ring...... crowd woulda went insane

as a plus I woulda had Vince McMahon at ringside for a reaction close up video shot when Ambrose used the Stone Cold Stunner to win lol

ahhhhh well back to reality :nonono:

Damn, this is the second time they've teased Ambrose getting close to winning. The crowd would have exploded, but the powers that be insist on having Reigns play the underdog role so that he can chase the title and continue this feud with Vince and the Authority.

Except Reigns playing the underdog doesn't work well at all. They're pretty much setting themselves up to see him get boo'ed out the building again come Wrestlemania. Hell, he was getting boo'ed tonight. It's like they insist of making the same mistakes over and over again.

Damn it, they should have given it to Ambrose...Wtf were they waiting for? This was his night! He stole the Last Man Standing match with KO earlier.

Triple H would have accepted his toss there and it would have been a great ending. Oh well, the ego's at WWE got in the way

The Royal Rumble last night was one of the best shows of the year! They also did a great job setting the stage for WM. Bray vs Lesnar should be good. I'm hoping the Owens elimination of AJ Styles sets up a feud between them for Mania. Sasha coming back to claim her stake was major. I am expecting a 5 star match between those women which will hopefully lead to Sasha vs Bailey post WM. Triple H entering at #30, eliminating Reins and winning the title was no surprise. Hopefully 'The Game" shows up for this feud and not COO Triple H. Lots to look forward to in the next few weeks.

I found the rumble boring.

And what a stupid idea to have Lesnar thrown out by people who were eliminated from the rumble.

Why not just do that every year now?

A) Pull a guy out, beat him down, toss him back in to get thrown out.

B) Have a bunch of your buddies not in the rumble come in to attack and throw everyone out.

So lame.

The other thing that sucks is, you watch those 30 guys and maybe 6 of them are truly relevant.

WWE needs at least four new guys who can be taken serious as title holders...to go along with what they have now.

Back in the day, you had so many options. It doesn't appear that way anymore.

i thought they were looking like they're doing owens v zayn when.

they wasted style's debut though, superstars should never debut in the rumble.

I don't see Zayn coming up to the main roster until after WM. He still has unfinished business in NXT with the triple threat this week and what sounds like a feud with Samoa Joe coming up.

I thought the AJ debut happened at the best time in the best place. Orlando is a place where they know him and got the pop he needed. They also gave him a chance to stay in the match for about 30 mins before being eliminated and they set up a feud at the same time.

Yeah....no. Dean Ambrose is a tad overrated. No way should you force a Stone Cold persona on him like that either. To me, Stone Cold is the best overall wrestling entertainer ever, Ambrose is not on his level. On top of that, he has lost steam over the last few months, though it's more of the fault to creative & agents rather than him.

HHH winning was the most predictable route. So predictable that I was hoping they would instead surprise & would go a different route, which is why I chose Bray to win but I get it looking at it from the business side of things. HHH can still wrestle, sells tickets & this fits the line of the storyline of him being the "Golden shovel". HHH sends Seth to cash in on Roman last Wrestlemania but couldn't maintain the belt. Has Sheamus cash in on Roman at Summerslam but couldn't get it done. Next step, get it done yourself. I get the storytelling. No way was Dean going to hold the IC & main title with the roster looking the way it is. Y'all expected Dean to defend IC & WWE title at Mania? C'mon y'all know better.

AJ Styles debuting was great considering that there was no nostalgic returns & no other surprises. AJ Styles most known for TNA in Orlando, stayed in a long time & showcased his talents. Him getting eliminated by KO was smart. If he got eliminated by anybody else, the fans would've been very hostile & probably taken over but the fact that it was another indie guy, who also was in NXT(Orlando) for awhile, the fans didn't know how to react. Definitely sets a feud between them also. Sami Zayne coming out was just another cool pop from the Orlando (NXT) crowd knowing that KO took Sami out of action for some months last year. I think they'll meet again later on the main roster but like somebody said above, he's still in NXT about to feud with Samoa Joe & hopefully a soon to be heel Finn Balor.

The thing I did not like was how they build the Wyatts up the whole week & during the rumble with how Braun Strowman eliminated Kane, Big Show, Ryback & Mark Henry with ease , let Lesnar throw them all out after working hard to do so before Bray comes out then instead of letting them face off they let the family back in the ring to go on to beat him down then toss him out. Could've kept things simple, just let them beat Brock down & let Bray pick up the pieces, hit him with the Sister Abigail like he did, then throw Brock over by himself. Don't make Bray look like a weak coward hiding behind his family's strength. How is Bray vs. Brock suppose to be believable? Also, why didn't Brock come back in to eliminate Bray the same way? That's my only gripe. They need to fix things tonight with that.

All in all, much better than the last year's & the Batista rumble in 2014. The undercard, aside from Alberto vs. Kalisto botchery, was also very good.

AJ's debut was cool. I liked the LMS match. Other than those 2 things, this show sucked, as usual from wwe. I like aj's new shirt and would get one, but it sold out in 2 hours

I really believe the 3 hour Raw is just killing the product.

Every match drags on, nearly every Raw match is predictable. The show should have quick matches, save these long matches for the PPV. I usually just change the channel whenever a match starts. Put it back 10 minutes later and the same match is still going on. Its obvious they are just killing time with all these long matches.

Storylines and promos should be the main focus on Monday nights. Thats how you properly build characters and feuds.

Also, ive been rewatching some Raw episodes from '99. Raw should go back to TV-14. Attract the college crowds and let people act like men again. Sexual innuendos seem to always be a big hit. Guys like Val Venis were pretty unspectacular in the ring but always got a nice pop whenever he came out. That really goes for a bunch of guys. Big reason why they should go back to Tv-14 is more freedom to cut a promo. Too many guys on the roster now talk like a superhero, which is lame and we all know no one talks like that in real life. Promos are the key to connecting with connecting to the casual viewer, actual wrestling not so much.

Just my random thoughts.

I agree with you on the 3 hour Raw. I think a huge reason is the amount of commercial time. I absolutely hate that about 70% of the matches are ruined with a break in the action. Why do they feel the need to go to commercial every 10 mins? Do they not understand that you kill momentum in a story that way? That is a big reason I love NXT. Even if they have to take a break it is 30 seconds and back to the match. There is no flow to raw and that is why it sucks. Is this USA Network's doing or a advertising money grab by the WWE?
