However, I still have my mind set on the last 3 innings and tomorrow before the Cubs series

Even IF they take 2 out 3 - they only gain one game...

Right-hander Yovani Gallardo earned another start with a seven-inning stint against the Giants on Sunday, and will pitch Friday's series opener in Chicago. Ben Sheets will start Saturday, followed by Bush or Vargas on Sunday. Whomever does not start the series finale would spend 11 days in the bullpen, Yost said, then would rejoin the rotation when Gallardo shifts to relief. It's a move partially designed to protect the 21-year-old Gallardo's arm for later this season.

i guess there's the decision. from the brewers site, an hour ago.

So when Cappy comes back, what then? Send Spurling down?

I would guess Capellan. Contrary to popular belief, Spurling has been rather decent this season.

Speaking of Capellan...

Hopefully very soon that can be followed by "Thank God he got sent down!"

interesting from the 40-man roster on the site....manny parra is on it, as is some infielder named joe dillon i've never heard of, and corey koskie is officially listed as on the 15-day dl.

I cannot believe we dropped a nine spot...this offense has been unbelievable since Hart took the leadoff spot. He has totally made me rethink my Gwynn over Hart as a leadoff hitter position. LOL.

That Cubs board is hilarious. They'll get theirs this weekend.

i was sitting up in 415 for most of the game, then i went to go sit with a couple friends in the old bucket head brigade area (232) to start the bottom of the sixth. it was amazing. i've never seen anything like that at a game, but i haven't been to a whole lot. it was so loud, the wave was even going before rickie's hit, so they were already into it. man, it was so much fun. imagine the playoffs. wow. just wow.

That's actually how I felt on Saturday when I sat in 224. It was a sold out stadium...and it got so loud in there I couldn't hear myself cheering.

Hopefully not too close to the pizza.

It's amazing what 25 years of pent up frustration will do to a fan base when the team finally breaks out.

Well, last night didn't suck it sounds like. I checked my phone for a score in the 6th and it was 4-2. Two hours later I check it and it's 11-5. Very nice.
