Much better outcome than the 36 pt halves we saw a few times.
Where the offseason has more buzz happens.

Great first half. Al had some nice drives, did take two 3 pointers but he made them both, and they were both wide open.

Teague looks really good tonight, he's been very aggressive. I need to see more of this from him.

The Dam was built up to 22, but they chipped away at it decreasing it to 12 behind a nice run. Our beavers brought it up to 14 going into the 4th, however. We must finish.

Much needed win to close out the road trip. We'll need to keep that energy up if we wanna beat the Clippers on Wednesday.

Wins just never get any analysis?

Welcome back Paul, made some really spectacular plays.

Just as important, welcome back Jeffrey, rare night when both PGs click at the same time though we've seen plenty where they've played like ass together.

Splitter and Al played extremely well against the Nugget's Eastern European biker gang that masquerades as NBA centers too.

A bit of synergy too between T. Lue getting his first win as a head coach and the Hawks winning in Denver for the first time since he manned the point.

Much better PACE , i thought they looked like they attacked more and more. They dont have Als shot chart up but I remember him making some shot fakes and driving to the basket. MAYBE HE READ THIS BOARD?

Teague with 10 AST??!!! WOW, finally.

Not a really talented DENVER team, this is what they should do to a team like that (AND THE SUNS). Still gave up 105 points doe.

It knew it had been awhile but 2006? Last time the Hawks had won in Denver before last night. Good job.

They knocked Utah off the list a few seasons ago and that stood since 1993. With Denver off the list all that remains is winning a game in San Antonio which has lasted since 98'.

When both points play well, we are a tough team to beat. When only one plays well, we are pretty average. When both play bad we are barely a playoff team.

Neither point guard has to have monster numbers. Schroder has to be aggressive going to the basket but under control enough not to just toss the ball away constantly and Teague just needs to run the offense off of drives.

AL Horford wrote:It was huge. Jeff’s energy, his activity, I’ve said this before. When he plays at that level, it changes our team completely. It was true last season. It’s true now. I was very happy to see him give us some really good minutes. Dennis as well. They both really set the tone.

Dennis Schroder wrote:That’s what we do. We’ve just got to be more aggressive every time we get to the lane, try to score or find the open teammate when (the defense) is sagging. I think we did a great job tonight.
