Carolina 24-20, lead 21-3 at half.

I want Carolina to win, but I really think somehow Denver wins.

The last time I relied on Manning to beat a division rival in the Super Bowl he threw a pick 6 and lost the game. Here's hoping that defense comes to play.

Carolina will almost certainly be favored, I just hope they don't get a big head about it. I was happy to see everyone keep saying "we've still got more to do" in the post-game celebration, it seems like Ron Rivera has them focused. I don't even think they gave him the Gatorade bath, which in a strange way also made me happy because it looks like no one is satisfied just yet. Carolina is much more balanced, but Denver's D was unreal against the Pats.

I think the game will much closer than a lot of the prognosticators will predict. Everyone is a prisoner of the moment, so the early leads against Seattle and Arizona will make a lot of pundits just assume Denver will be down early and are ill-equipped to recover from that situation. The Broncos defense scares the **** out me, honestly. My head tells me Carolina is a better team, but a defense like Denver's gives you a chance every single game.

Carolina is the better team and makes way more sense to win, but somehow the magic of Manning retiring crazy stuff will happen and denver will somehow win.

To me, it seems like Carolina should win, but Denver's D is SO good, I don't know.....the spread is 4.5, so people who bet on Carolina and got your result would not be happy with that and the Denver betters would feel pretty good.

In the end I think Denver will shut down Carolina fairly well, but Carolina's D is much better than New England's so even though Denver will shut Carolina a bit, Carolina could completely shut down Denver's (mostly pathetic this season) offense. The only X factor is Peyton Manning in his last game going out and just wowing everyone, and I guess you never know....he was pretty good (much better than all of this season) in the AFC championship.

Denver's defense keeps the game within reach. 24-16 Carolina.

Everyone said that the Pats were about to dominate Denver but look what that D did to Brady. 4 sacks and 20 hits. 20. Most on a QB since 2006.

But Carolina is no slouch on D either. They are ranked #2.

How is Carolinas O line? That may decide the game. If they can hold off Denvers relentless D line then they win. Manning can't stay with Cam if he's not under constant attack.

I'm rooting for Peyton to go out on top. Difficult matchup. Just hoping for a good game. GL.

Carolina is clearly the better team, but there is some kind of mojo in Denver. This could be like Green Bay-Denver in 97-98, when the Pack were heavily favored but the Broncos with the whole old man Elway had some kind of magic and managed to win.

I'd love to see Manning win another ring and retire a champion, but the Panthers are just dominant across the board.

The Broncos have proved me wrong all year, so I'm done assuming that they're going to lose against anybody.

But with that said, I do think Carolina is the better team, so I'll pick them. But I wouldn't be surprised at all if Denver pulls it off.

I'm not sure if I will watch this yet, but I'm rooting for Carolina. I like Cam a lot. I won't be mad if Denver wins though, I've actually never had anything against Manning. He's always been a nice guy who speaks well of us before and after games. Never understood the hatred towards him. If the Broncos lose, they will have lost seven of nine superbowls, correct? That's some Bills level stuff.

Hopefully its as entertaining as last year.

Go Panthers.

Don't worry the Broncos will lose. The game will be similar to what Seattle did to them 2 years ago. Blow out, Carolina & NFC win big.

I don't expect fireworks from either side tbh. I'll take the Panthers in a tightly contested low scoring affair.

That was a different Bronco team though. More offensive based. This Bronco team won't suffer if their offense plays a poor game. Obviously if Manning has a bunch of turnovers again they'll get routed, but I don't see that happening.

Denvers O better show up. The D will but you won't completely shut Cam down. Denver needs to score 27 IMO.

Oher is going to have his hands full with this Denver pass rush. It's nasty. The right side better be ready for Cams rushing.

Denver 27-24.
