Yep, we've never won the lotto. I could see us having the worst record, and still end up picking 3rd or 4th over winning it.
It was really strange watching the Cavs vs Wolves game, which had 4 number one picks going at it, and only one of them has a chip, and it was after he left the team which drafted him.
I also wouldn't be totally shocked if we won the lotto, no matter where our spot is (especially if we are in top 7 odds). Its all random.
We'll probably end up in a tie with the TWolves or something for 4th worst record, do a coin flip, and we will win it, to get the 4th spot, dropping them to 5th best odds, and they leapfrog us and win the lotto with that 5th worst spot, dropping us to 5th anyway. It will surely be the most gut wrenching way to barely miss that top pick possible.
I shouldn't have dreamed up that scenario. Now I feel like I am going to certainly watch it play out in horror.
