Thats a thug move. Thats the way Boston plays. Nene hacked Smart and got a tech. BS its basic the same play a hack across the face. Nene got called Smart did not. BTW Boston sets a lot of illegal screens also with no calls. Fugg em their are 1st round fodders to Cle, Atlanta or Miami.
Many times we get called for illegal screens because we're so bad at it. One of the worst teams in the league. Watch a good team and it's easy to see the difference.
1) Our guard takes off before the screener is set. Phil Chenier has pointed this out so much I think he's given up.
2) Gortat is so obvious at moving into the defender. Maybe he's frustrated because of item 1, but it's better to let the defender go by since it's not a turnover. Maybe our guards will learn something.
3) Our big will come out to set a screen and Wall goes the other direction. Makes no sense. Happened several times last night.
4) A good pick is set, picker rolls to the basket, and a risky pass results in a turnover. We're often successful at this, but I wonder if teams have gotten better lately at anticipating out attempts.
