Blake is out an additional 4-6 weeks because he punched a team employee.

4-6 weeks?

Interesting.

Pretty sure I'd be instantly terminated from my company if I assaulted one of my staff.

Blake likes to horse around, joke around... the guy actually is his close friend... it is just so unfortunate....from what I knew and saw about Blake, he is really a good character guy in a lot of ways, well liked by teammates.... i guess it is just immaturity and a freaking accident...just sorry for him and clippers..

Minnesota needs a new coach. Mitchell is just too outdated. I think they should hire David Blatt. The coach and player that Lebron didn't want should be on the same team. The wolves have the talent to be a great team in 2 or 3 years.

Tyronn Lue and his 2-1 record will coach the East All-Stars.

Should've let Blatt do it.

All stats incredibly similar. Thomas scores a little more, Kemba has better defensive counting stats, Jackson shoots a bit more efficiently. Came down to the team with the best record. Don't hate that logic.

I just can't bring myself to care at all about the All-Star Roster. I'd rather our players stay under the radar and under the cap.

Remember last season when all those Lance to the Nets trade rumors were swirling and Lance posted that black screen on his instagram, we were told the deal was essentially done at midnight, then the next morning we learned the deal fell apart?

Randomly just remembered that. Wish there was an FO out there creating some trade rumor drama, kind of boring on that front.

Biyombo alert: Double-double in a win against the Pistons. 12 pts, 13 rbs, 3 blocks. 6-8(!) from the FT line.

Lamar, if you're still cobbling together Biyombo HL reels, he had a great play tonight. 3rd qt, he caught a grenade from Patrick Patterson saving the ball from going out of bounds and swished a turn-around jumper from the FT elbow.

Biyombo has been a pleasant surprise. I really didnt expect much of him at all coming in beside maybe getting rebounds and blocking a shot. But while his offense still has ways to go, he has improved his shooting and isint THAT much of a liability offensively. It might sound like im gloating but I just want to say that the people who wish him well, are getting their wish. Sometimes a player might just need a different environment to thrive. Casey gives him alot of free reign to just hustle.

I might take a look at it if no one else does it but man... the highlight racket ain't what it used to be.

Four years ago there wouldn't literally be anyone on YouTube making highlight reels on the Bobcats. Even borderline All-Stars weren't a sure shot, I remember making a video of Millsap's 40+ points at Miami (with the three 3pointers at the end) like 18 hours later and being the first one to it.

Nowadays there are like six, seven channels which put out stuff non-stop on anyone over 10 points. And the videos come so soon after the game ending.

I think this goes to show how role players on good teams tend to be over-valued while role players on bad teams are under-appreciated.

Of course, that doesn't mean that you should look for every Bobcats reserve from the past couple years. A few of them were indeed bad. But if you do the proper scouting and pick out the player who can legitimately contribute, you can get a steal like Biyombo for 3 mil/year.

TOR beat writer thinks Biz looking at $10M/ this summer:
Backup center Bismack Biyombo has played well in his first season with the Raptors and Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun has some thoughts on his future. Wolstat writes: "Logic indicates Biyombo will decline the player option Masai Ujiri gave him and hit the market in search of roughly $10 million a season (a guess from this corner), or, about five times his current deal. With Valanciunas starting his hefty extension next season and Lucas Nogueira an intriguing potential backup still toiling on the cheap, this will be an interesting area to watch come July."
