Would you move Lopez in a deal to acquire Teague?
It seems KP's real position is Center.. Allows the Knicks to take the 20mil in cap space they were planning on a guard and throw it to the front court.
Also theres this guy named Durant available this offseason that would fit well within that plan

I'd do that in 2 seconds! Teague is a starting caliber PG making only 8 mil until 2017. The addition of Teague would help us a lot more than the loss of Rolo would hurt us.

I proposed something like this before w Schroder...
Lopez to Dallas
Parsons to Atlanta
Teague to NYK

I think finding a third team for Lopez can get us the assets we need to get Teague..
Sign Noah and Batum

Noah / O'Quinn
KP / D-Will
Melo / Afflao
Batum / Gallo
Teague / Grant

If the cavs are dealing Mosgov then I think Atlanta would bite it.

It would probably take Arron Afflalo, Langston Galloway and a conditional 2018 first round draft pick (as they need wing help which Afflalo could provide and Galloway would be a replacement for Teague to back-up Schroder.) I know this is a steep price, but I would be shocked if Phil could pull off getting Teague for anything less. I know this leaves us VERY VERY thin at shooting guard, but I would rather be thin at shooting guard, but have point guard filled rather than the other way around because shooting guard should be easier to fill in free agency.

I know it would be kind of a total re-tool so to speak, but we could send out Robin Lopez to replace Afflalo or make a smaller deal with a team in need of front-court depth (Kyle O'Quinn for Courtney Lee).

C-Robin Lopez
PF-Kristaps Porzingis
SF-Carmelo Anthony
SG-Courtney Lee
PG-Jeff Teague

I think that is a WAY better line-up than our current one.
Disclaimer: Trades I post shouldn't make you stressed or angry if you disagree. If you say it's unproductive because it won't happen and we're only allowed to post deals that actually happen, it takes away 99% of trades here and the fun out of the board.

Which one do you prefer? Teague or Schroeder? I'm leaning towards German chocolate to be honest.

Schroder, but I'm not choosy. Either one would be a HUGE upgrade

The Knicks have to think about this carefully. They have to re-sign Afflalo who will opt out. Also need a back up for mop head aka Lopez.

I hate to say it but Ricky Rubio is the answer at the end of this weekend

The only guys that cannot move are Melo and KP. The rest can GTFO if it improves us.

teague makes 8 mill. makes a trade for him hard unless we're willing to give up d-will or arron. i assume they won't take jose.

I would love to have Dennis, trade Jerian Grant and Afflalo and whatever else you have to trade to get him.

You're not getting Teague without moving Rolo.
