Fred Hoiberg: "I love this roster."

And so did GarPax as they didn't change it one iota.

Maybe these guys aren't the greatest evaluaters of talent if we need all new players.

What does that have to do with anything? It's a new coach just giving a cliche statement about his new team.

Or maybe they gave lip service to the media and fan base knowing full well they had holes. It should've been obvious to everyone when Fred went back to isolation offense at the request of Jimmy and incorporated more PnR for Gasol that this roster has holes that he's trying to cover up.

Then you shake it up. This is an aging core, no reason to keep it together if its not going to get better.

Fred regressed the offense only *after* the great 'Hoiball' system fell on its face, which both he and the FO thought was going to be some miraculous answer to fix the team.

I agree that we should shake it up, but it's GarPax. Maybe we'll make a deal before the deadline. Maybe this year is just an evaluation year as they figure out what they have. I mean let's be honest, they are a pretty conservative front office so I wouldn't expect anything drastic.

in Fred's case i don't expect him to say "yeah this roster is terrible i can't do anything with it" it was PR speak

i whole heartily agree with shaking the roster up
I don't do the dishes, I throw them in the crib

The Bulls are not well-coached at all. It is almost embarrassing. I think Fred is in over his head and after two years he will move back to college. Flame away.
