Depending on what happens with Mozgov in Cleveland, how do you guys feel about a Ben and KK swap for Shumpert?

I would be in favor of this. Solid perimeter defender we can start next to Gay and has a respectable outside shot. Would also free up minutes for WCS and Acy plus using Casspi more at the 4.

I like it too. If they want Mozgov out we may need to tinker it some with a third team. But if that is the basic trade as far as we are concerned, I'm all for it.

Shump is signed for a couple of years too. So we wouldn't have to worry any more about SG minutes like we do now.

i think the cavs would like to keep shumpert because of his defense.. i would love to have shump here but cleveland would probably prefer to keep him...

He's not getting a whole lot of minutes, they've got JR and then Delly for defense. Maybe they bite as feeling Shump's contract may be a little burdensome?

Guess it would depend how much they want Mozgov out. But basically they get a good reserve center on a contract that's fair, then take a shot on Ben who could in theory turn out to be the better all around basketball player.

they would need every single perimeter defender they have, especially if they are still thinking about a warriors rematch in the finals.. i don't give much value to kosta and ben trade wise... i also don't see them wanting to have kosta, if they are thinking of trading away mozgov its because he had a hard time playing against the small ball lineup..and knowing kosta, he also has the same problems that mozgov had on defense with that type of lineup...

No offense but I don't like it at all. Shumpert makes $9 million per year and is averaging 7 points per game this season. His career average is 7.7 ppg shooting a putrid 39.7% from field and 34.2% from 3. Is his defense that good to overlook this? I don't think so and I'm not a McLemore fan.

This trade doesn't work under CBA and Tucker is more of a tough 3/4. The Kings need a 2/3.

I don't think the Celtics would do it but how about Rudy Gay and Ben McLemore for Avery Bradley and Jae Crowder. We'd get 2 younger defensive minded guys on bargain contracts. This would be a big trade but I really don't want to trade Rudy and I'm not sure we need to make a big trade but we do need outside shooting and wing defense. I'd love to acquire Troy Daniels from Charlotte because he could bury 3's all day in our offense. I've suggested this before and am suggesting it again, McLemore and Belinelli to Grizzlies for Courtney Lee and Matt Barnes. Bradley, Crowder, Daniels, Lee, and Barnes are the type of guys we need to pursue before deadline.

Note: I'm not sure why I have this gut feeling but I think we have a legitimate shot to sign DeMar DeRozan this offseason. I think part of it is he's close to Rudy which also makes me more reluctant to trade Rudy. I believe it was dozencousins that mentioned Kings have a good chance at signing a star shooting guard this offseason, again I think its DeRozan. He's from Cali and probably realizes if joins Kings starting lineup of Rondo, him, Gay, Cauley-Stein, and Cousins they'd be sick.

Dream roster for 2016-17 in Golden 1 Center:
Rajoy Rondo/Darren Collison/Seth Curry
DeMar DeRozan/Troy Daniels
Rudy Gay/Omri Casspi/Matt Barnes
Willie Cauley-Stein/Ryan Anderson/Quincy Acy
DeMarcus Cousins/Kosta Koufos

I like your Boston trade...

I'm torn on Rudy. The reality is this team is not built around the Big 3. If it were we would need low usage players around them that all have specific skill sets. Rudy is a guy who can give us a bucket out of nothing and causes mismatches and double teams. You lose Rudy, the ball goes into Rondo and Cousins hands a lot more which can be a great thing, but to have that perimeter threat is huge. Regardless, if there were a trade out there, netting Crowder and Bradley increases our defense and both guys are no slouch on the offensive end.

As for Demar, no way he comes to Sac. It's a dream, but he would go to Clippers first. Doc is lobbying by pumping up DeRozan up. How he should be an all star and he loves coaching guys like him. That's why I can see them attempting a trade FOR Rudy and getting rid of JJ.

Don't want to burst anyone's bubbles but we are not trading for any of
Mozgov , Shumpert or Bradley

100% certain of both Cavs players Kings don't have any desire for them . Bradley Kings like a bit but as long as we have both Rajon & Darren that is 100% out & still likely out for now at least even if we only had one of .

Celtics aren't trading Bradley/Crowder for Rudy/Ben.. Add in WCS and it's a maybe.

Jae's stock is extremely high right now, he's been thrown around as a core piece for a Kevin Love trade in media discussion and our board's fans have been hesitant about that.

Bradley/filler (Evan Turner? Jonas Jerebko?) for Rudy/Ben I'd do, personally, but I don't think that works for SAC..

If that's true the Celtics better close the deal. That's unreal value for him ...

I don't mean a deal is imminent, just that media twitterati have been saying things like 'Crowder, Sullinger, picks for Love, who says no?' - his contract is a huge asset and he's showed unusually persistent offensive improvement, getting an opportunity for the first time. He's looking a lot like prime Gerald Wallace, but at half a max salary, and there's cautious optimism that he could make another offensive leap like Jimmy Butler to be a primary scoring option..

From what I know Kings had some interest last year in Hibbert however Kings don't have much interest in any of those 4 players you mentioned . For us t o take any 1 of those 4 that means we would have to get a sweetener in the deal.

KIngs will not be trading WCS I can almost 100% guarantee that . The offer you mentioned the Kings would never do .
