What's funny is all the LA beat writers have been saying this since Russell was drafted yet some unknown on the east coast says Lakers are trading one of them and twitter goes insane...lol

There's lots of time to trade him over the next 2 years and there's not a name or a deal out there right now that makes any sense.

You knew this was bogus when you just consider those factors.

I'd trade him next year if he still not as good as advertised and we have a better coach with better system.....don't hold on to players because you drafted them high, look at some of the former #2's like D.Will, Evan Turner, Thabeet.....teams kept them to long and they lost all value and the "potential" stuff faded.
