IF Portland continues to play well, can we get 3 #1's this year ?? Heck, even MEM is playing in range right not to turn over their top pick to us (not that I expect that to remain that way)

2016 1st Round Pick swap with the Knicks: However the coming season plays out, Denver has the right to swap first round picks with the Knicks. Meaning if the Knicks finish with the 5th pick and Denver the 8th, the Nuggets can take the 5th pick (with the 8th pick, in this scenario, going to the Raptors as part of the Andrea Bargnani deal from the Knicks). So, Denver could have two chances at lottery gold (top three pick), if both New York and Denver miss the playoffs.

Rockets 1st Rounder: This pick is 1-14 protected, meaning Denver gets it if it's 15-30. The Nuggets could have two picks in the 2016 draft, or they could choose to package the pair for a player or a better pick.

Blazers 1st Rounder: This pick is lottery protected both for 2016 and 2017, meaning Denver only gets the pick if the Blazers make the playoffs in one of the next two drafts. It's in the 15-30 range for 2016 and '17 drafts, and if it doesn't convey, it becomes two second round picks; one in 2018 (after a pick swap with the Kings) and one in 2019.

Grizzlies 1st Rounder: This pick is more complex. It's protected in 2016 from 1-5 and 15-30; meaning it comes to Denver if it's 6-14. In 2017 and 2018 it's only protected 1-5; meaning it comes to Denver if it's 6-30. And in 2019 it's totally unprotected; meaning if it becomes the first pick, Denver gets it - no matter what.

Looks like we may be seeing Nurkic back on the floor soon, finally we may get an idea of what the future looks like.

I'm thinking over the off season, to give Beal or Batum a big contract and then try and get Dellevadova. With WC coming back that would give us 3 plus defenders and all those players can shoot.

For what it's worth, Malone said in his post-game that Beal came up and complimented him on all the good young talent on this team. Maybe there is a chance. :dontknow:

I'd be super happy to have him. Wonder if we can offer them like Joffrey and Portland's 1st so we don't have to overpay to bring him here.

I still don't think it's very likely. Washington isn't letting go of Beal until Durant's signature is in front of them. And with the way they're playing right now, I don't know why Durant would rather be in Washington than OKC.

Beal's injury history could open some doors with for the Nuggets, but with our medical staff, I'm not sure I'd even want him at the max.

In order to get Beal to sign with us, KD would probably have to agree to sign with the Wizards. That move alone would dramatically shake up our division.

The Nuggets need to get a bit lucky somewhere along the way. It's going to be an interesting offseason. TC will be aggressive because we have the money and a lot of tradeable assets. But at the same time we aren't too far off, so we could stand pat.

This team is a lot different from the pre-Melo rebuild. Before landing Melo we were hoping and praying that Tskita would somehow become the next Dirk and Nene would somehow turn into Shaq. Our young core of Mudiay,Harris,Jokic,Nurkic and Lauvergne are a lot more talented, than what we had then.

Always good to see direction and nice to have confirmation. Gallo is staying !! Most other fans don't think we'll be back in the playoffs anytime soon, we know better and believe it'll be next year.

Once Foye and Hickson are gone and replaced with a couple shiny new rookies and hopefully a decent free agent or two, plus the return of Chandler and another year of growth from the young guys, I have no doubts that we'll be back in the playoffs next year.
