Depending on what happens with Mozgov in Cleveland, how do you guys feel about a Ben and KK swap for Shumpert?

TBH I don't like it for either team. Cleveland has no use for Koufos as they are already overloaded upfront and given their mandate to win now Shumpert is better than Ben this season.

Conversely, while we are trying to make the playoffs this year I think we need more playmaking and scoring out of the SG spot and over the long haul Ben has a higher, albeit low, probability of being that guy than Shumpert who is a career bench player.

I'd love a guy like Shump but in place of JA or Belly, not as a starter.

Jae's stock is extremely high right now, he's been thrown around as a core piece for a Kevin Love trade in media discussion and our board's fans have been hesitant about that.

If that's true the Celtics better close the deal. That's unreal value for him ...

Thing is the wing player is en vogue right now under the current meta game. No one wants to part with their wings. Instead, everyone is looking for that two-way three point shooter that can guard multiple positions. Its a supply and demand thing.

I have to agree there's no way we can get Crowder unless we are talking a Cousins trade. And let's not go there.

He's redundant enough with Omri IMO, who IMO is playing comparably well, although Jae might have more defensive versatility while Omri excels at other parts over Jae. I can think of other pieces than Cousins I wouldn't give up for Crowder

100% certain of both Cavs players Kings don't have any desire for them . Bradley Kings like a bit but as long as we have both Rajon & Darren that is 100% out & still likely out for now at least even if we only had one of .

From what I know Kings had some interest last year in Hibbert however Kings don't have much interest in any of those 4 players you mentioned . For us t o take any 1 of those 4 that means we would have to get a sweetener in the deal.

Karl needs a wing that can defend, handle, and shoot. Would the Bucks consider this type of deal?

Kings trade: Rudy Gay, Ben McLemore, Kosta Koufos

Bucks trade: Khris Middleton, John Henson, Miles Plumlee, 2nd round pick

bucks would definitely pass..Middleton has way more value than gay right now..plus the Bucks have jabari and Giannis to play the 3/4 spot..while Middleton plays the 2 guard for them..

I don't think Karl's needs will be factored into major personnel decisions, lol, as his days our numbered, but I love me some Middleton as well. Henson I think is considered bad money now

I look at it this way though, they get a legit C to fill in for Monroe if they decide to move him and they get rid of the abomination of a contract coming to John Henson. I think Henson would fit the Kings as a 3rd big much better as well. Then there is Ben. Once Ben goes to a team where he can finally get the ball and score the deal might just look pretty rotten for the Kings in the end. The Bucks aren't going anywhere right now and in looking at that roster Gay comes in and is probably right away their best scorer. You put Parker on the bench (he hasn't live up to his hype at all) and they have a pretty talented lineup to move forward with. Middleton isn't anyones star or main building piece. Not by a long shot.

Well, a defensively capable SG with size is important regardless of the coach if they are going to keep Rondo at PG moving forward.

I find it amazing that a site like hoopshype.com today is reporting that the Kings have been getting calls to trade both Gay & Marco something I mentioned 4 weeks ago on this board .Jan 1st on this thread . They are way behind the game of reporting as of late .

Anyways alot of playoff contenders calling about Marco not to mention both playoff & none play off contenders calling about Gay .

As of the moment teams we are most likely to trade with are : BULLS , N.O. , BOS , CLIPPERS , MEM
LAKERS are a real possibility as they are wanting GAY as well . I know that though a trade between us & the Lakers are more doubtful than others since both organizations kind of hate each other. LAKERS called us about GAY and KINGS had made it clear that if we trade GAY their we are going to get at least 1 of a future #1 pick , Russell or Clarkson . My source just told me the LAKERS recently offered us a deal of RUSSELL & HIBBERT for GAY , KOUFAS & BUTLER offered that deal to us Kings are considering it . If it was me I would do it & do it now . This was offered today .

If the was truley offered how the hell is it not done yet. Russell is the real deal with a dumbass coach and the likes of Kobe/Lue Will. Hibbert can get 10-15mpg backing up DMC.

Also Hibbert is expiring so we are clearing 14mill. We can than offer a contract to a guy like Batumor Barnes.
