Last season's Euroleague MVP, The Professor who has ice running through his veins, lead his team to their first ever Final Four appearance and as a reward got the chance to work under legendary coach Sam Mitchell. Playing with a coach like him, and Rubio, it is clearly not the desired situation for him but we embrace the Professor with open arms to our developing, pick and roll n pick and pop based team playing Euro style ball where he wont be just a spot up shooter waiting on corners. As a point forward, he will have the ball in his hands to initiate pnrs, lead the team in transition, and also engaged while off the ball due to our constant ball movement and passing. His unparallel decision making will be vital for us especially as the first one taking the ball up court after a rebound. His BBQ n decision making makes him nearly like Dejan Bodiroga reincarnated and the all-around abilities he possess combined with his length and athleticism he is tailor made for our team and also in development of Porzingis and Gordon. Playing next to both, defensively it gives us the chance play with the matchups to ease the burden on Bjelica in certain NBA matchups he might struggle with. Next step in his individual improvement will be conditioning and getting use to NBA more and improve his physical side of the game to keep up with the tempo of NBA and our style of play. He's a basketball player. I'm not going to label him with a position, a 3 or a 4. I'm going to label him as a player. He's different than a lot of the players that we have, and when we talked a lot about him coming here, one of the big things was that he's different...he can handle the basketball, he can shoot the three, he can move around the floor, he can run pick-and-rolls, and we really don't have anyone at his size that can do that
