We are on a three game losing streak.

The big question I have for tonight is whether Gay will be playing in goggles or not.

You know, there is a noticeable difference with this team lately and it has a lot to do with everything going back to outside/in offensively. Doug Christie called it out after the last game, get Cuz down low, make the defense adjust, let him create passing opportunities. I mean, this hitting the same wrong nail with the same wrong hammer needs to end once and for all. Less dribble drive means MORE WINS.

When the Grizz put up 36 on you it's time to start thinking about what was working before and what has changed. It's like a crackhead going back to the pipe after being clean for a few weeks.

Sounds like Chris Rock's "Pookie" from New Jack City. Classic movie that told the truth.

I should not have made a game thread.

kings suffering from overtime fatigue symdrome. Almost beat the hornets in OT. Now they'll be tired until after the all star break. Should have just lost that game in regulation
So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.

I didn't watch the game but why was Cousins 3/17?

I'm at the point again with this team - not minding the loss for draft position. This incarnation ain't working. New coaching staff, and a lineup re altering needed in the offseason

If Cousins is hurt it could roll out the tank, hopefully nothing serious

Grizz's interior defense is one of the best in the league. Cousins routinely took the ball into the teeth of the Grizz and had poor results. That and Cousins has been dealing with a sprained (left) ankle in the early part of the game too.

0-9 in the second half.

Cousins' x-ray results are negative. Left sprained ankle.

3-17, 6 turnovers, 1 measly assist. I know you drink too much of the Cuz Kool-aid to admit he sucked, so I'll do it for you (you're welcome). As usual, mental weakness and the poor effort that comes along with it were the reasons why we lost.

Hey look everybody, it's late monday morning and the QB decided to come throw his ball around! You are continuing to take things out of context relative to the moment a comment was made. I made this statement way early in the game upon noticing many of the offensive sets they were running and guess what, watch the game over, the trend for the most part continued throughout the entire game. They finally went down into the post a few times when they were already down by a ton. Fighting back from the post when down double digits? Yeah, not likely. They have gone back to the exact opposite of what they started to do with running more motion out of the post and allowing Cousins to draw double teams. It has mostly been drives towards the basket lately and it has a lot to do with what has been hurting this team offensively early in games. The defense is what it is but now the offense is being shut down by opposing teams and the adjustment is coming a little too late.

Getting a player like Cuz in the post for some plays has nothing to do with his scoring really, it has everything to do with spacing and not allowing teams to basically zone you out of your driving lanes. The Grizz just stayed middle and collapsed on anyone trying to get to the rim. More and more teams are starting to do it to the Kings as well and it's making them incredibly easy to defend. Just like they were before you know what stretch where they started to play more inside out?

Mental weakness and effort are the coaches responsibility too (along with the players). If Karl's aging demeanor/systems don't inspire, that will lead to what we are seeing

Cuz did suck and needs to be held accountable, but if the pace and system are not to his benefit and he's playing with a coach that he does not feel inspired to go to battle with it will affect his play

Don't you see that you're both saying the same thing?

ZZZ: "Cousins needs to be down low. We aren't as good when he's driving all the time"
Wolfay: "OMG you're such a Cousins apologist! Look at Cousins stat line FFS!!!""

The former begets the latter.

In his mind they are not the same thing. It's all EFFORT based. Nothing more according to the non "apologists". They just aren't trying hard enough. Which I will admit, does indeed come into play but that's usually after a few heaves of the boulder up hill both ways. Eventually they will most likely just give up entirely if they continue to try and push that same boulder. They haven't yet though, which I'm honestly somewhat surprised in.

How is dribbling into three guys and forcing a horrendous shot anything other than lazy attempt at offense. The boulder the guys are pushing is all in their heads.

I love how "along with the players" is a mere afterthought. I'll rewrite your post for you into what what you wanted to say:
