He is strictly a SF. Not quick enough to defend SG and not strong enough to defend in the post.

how many 6'9 SG are there?
can he chase around small combo guards?

Hes going to be a SF. But hes not a slow guy especially on D out on the perimeter. Hes quicker than say Klay Thompson and he handles guarding 2s. Again hes going to be a 3 but he wont have a problem switching and guarding 2s

Ingram, Wiggins, Rubio and Towns definitely fits together, and that's what matters. I mean, is Simmons a poor fit on the Celtics because they have Kelly Olynyk, Jared Sullinger and Tyler Zeller? And those guys are better than Lavine and Shabazz.

I think Dunn is the best for in the top 3 for Minny but Rubio probably doesn't hold the kind of trade value it would take to be willing to pull the trigger and deal him.

Towns/Wiggins/Dunn is a hell of a young trio.

To be expected. Numbers speak for themselves....

Ingram was 3 of 15 from the field and only made 1 of 4 from 3 point attempts.

Gotcha, nevermind.

yeah sorry, I really wasn't very clear here.

Isaiah Briscoe and Skal Labissierie will both be 20 come the draft. Simmons will be near 20 too. They'll be the same age as Nigel Hayes and Carl Lavert are now. Just a much older bunch than this years lot. Infact them three are all the same age or older than this years lottery guys. Ingram and some other prospects have a year and a half on most of them which should surely count for a lot.

Wrote this in May about this class. Think the age discrepancy amongst college freshman is such an overlooked factor.

Someone like Josh Jackson in next years class is older than Ingram is now. Been very happy with how Ingram has done this year. I struggle to see him not going 2 unless one of the Euros like Bender is very special. Haven't seen enough of him to say yet though.

I could see minn passing on ingram if they were at 2, look at their draft history

Ingram appears to have hit the wall halfway through the season. His shooting percentages over his last few games are worrisome to say the least.

Today's game he shot just 30% (3 of 10) from the field.

Previous game he shot just 20% (3 of 15) from the field.

His ability to get to the basket doesn't look great yet, he's a bit on the slow side in terms of first step.. He should be blowing right by these smaller defenders with his long strides but he hasn't done it much. His handles need to tighten up... He can spot up shoot well.. Not comfortable shooting with a defender near him

But I think the rashard lewis comparisons are really solid.

He won the game for us tonight. We fell apart and blew a 15pt lead and Ingram just put us on his back. He also showed how good of handles he had as well in the second half.

Ya two bad games, even though in those two games he scored 14 points in both games, 17 boards and 6 blocks. Also 13/15 from the line. And since he said few the game before he put up 19 and 10 on 61% shooting.

Oh and tonight he had 18/10/4 on 5/9 shooting and 2/5 from 3. Ya he really hit that wall lol.

And here are his per 40 numbers during ACC play.

20 ppg with 46/45/74 shooting numbers. Also add 8 boards a game and 2.2 blocks a game. I dont think those shooting numbers are worrisome. Just to put it in perspective KD's shooting numbers as a freshman 47/40/81.

^^ whole heartedly agree. I understand he's a big BS fan though and there are countless clowns who hate on him for not much reason at all. But he's really just hating on Ingram in the same way folk are doing that with Ben. You may like Ben or Brandon better but there is really no reason to spite a young kid just because they aren't your favorite. Brandon is an amazing prospect. As is Ben. Who cares what other people think. The cards will fall where they fall.

Oh and if anything, I'm impressed that Brandon has been able to impact the game in different ways when his shot wasn't falling, just like Ben has been able to do.

Ya the dude has been a stud defensively for us and always seems to make an impact even with his shot is not falling. I think Ingram should be the #1 pick (of course there is some bias there lol) but that doesnt make Simmons a bad prospect though. I just like the idea of a player with elite perimeter scoring and defensive potential over an elite facilitator. But ya both guys are good prospects and no reason to bash one to praise the other. They both have their flaws (Simmons jumper, Ingram's tiny frame) and they both clearly have their positives

Great video. One thing I will say is on one of the negatives when he drives into Matt Jones. That was on Jones not Ingram. Jones does this a lot as well on some of Grayson's drives.
