Who are our/La's Best duo's

Post#1 » by SlimShady83 » Fri Jan 29, 2016 10:33 am

So I'm a little curious to know who you all think our best duo's are and if they're worth keeping as a single or duo?

It seems like almost every game thread someone says certain people play well together, so it's a good topic to be had.

Many of you think that

Clarkson plays well with Russ rather then Lou

Kelly is no longer a stretch 4 due to his lack of shooting (3pt that is) - but he also hasn't been trying to be come one and instead concentrates on rebounding, making that extra pass and team basketball (believe it or not)

I feel Kelly plays really well with Bass and Black from the limited time I have seen them two play together - But when it comes to the like of someone like HIbbert - he is dead weight.

Yes I'm a Kelly fan.

So I'm curious to know who you all think are the best Duo's and who should and shouldn't be traded - A lot of you say just about everyone is worthy being traded - but what about those who do play well together.

I'd like Kelly/Bass ... Clarkson/Russell to stay due to the fact they do actually play better together.

Just a thought to be had.

Kelly is awful and shouldn't be on the team. You could get someone out of the D-League who would give you at minimum the same production he'd give you. Not worth 1.7M even in today's spending spree that is the NBA.

At this point we need to be playing the young core together (with Bryant, for obvious reasons).

PG- Russell [35] / Clarkson [13]
SG- Clarkson [20] / Williams [23]/ Bryant [5]
SF- Bryant [20]/ Brown [20]/ Nance [8]
PF- Randle [28] / Nance [20]
C- Bass [24]/ Black [20]/ Randle [4]

Russell: 35 mins
Clarkson: 33 mins
Randle: 32 mins
Nance: 28 mins
Bryant: 25 mins (3-5 mins more if games close)
Williams: 23 mins
Bass: 24 mins
Brown: 20 mins
Black: 20 mins

There's a 9 man rotation that satisfies everything.

ALSO.. don't care how bad it gets at times.. you stick to it. To the minute. These guys have to learn to play and have success. The front office can judge after the season how it performed and what changes need to be made.
