With three legit NBA starters and two bench players under contract for next season, the Wizards are essentially staring another rebuild in the face.

It's unfathomable to me how Leonsis would leave Grunfeld in charge to give it a third crack.

More than Seraphin's career scoring total.

Vesley was too easy - 4 times his career total.

When you meld General Davis - the Commanding General of the Tuskegee Airmen -- with the face of G-Wiz, you are certifiably insane.

(Ted thinking that he's Dr. King is "merely" his tremendous ego gone wild).

Leonsis once asserted that the Bullets 1978 NBA championship trophy had been "lost" until he personally intervened and located it on the floor of a bedroom closet in some employee's house. A story later revealed to be utter nonsense. Such a clown.

Yup, it's all here https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/wizards/the-1978-washington-bullets-championship-trophy--and-the-man-who-looked-over-it/2013/04/10/be1790de-a20c-11e2-9c03-6952ff305f35_story.html

I believe the correct term to use for Leonsis in that situation is poseur.

Didn't realize G-Wiz was such a motivator. I figured his quote would be about face palming and hip thrusting.

If at first you don't succeed...

Monumental Sports is giving it another go this year for Black History Month. Well, the Wizards are, anyway:

I didn't see any similar attempts on the Caps' website.

So um... how is Beal honoring him - by being black and looking in the same general direction as that picture of Langston Hughes?

THIS.

Come on, Ted. Are you that tone deaf? You want Beal to honor Langston Hughes, drop a video of Beal reciting something by Hughes. Don't just pick a black dude, dress him up like Hughes and make a side-by-side photo appear "similar". That reeks of "they all look alike".

Honestly, given the blow back they received last year, this is even stupider.
