Come on he barely played and I don't think play with any of the starters--his unit was horrible, DWill was bricking threes and him and Seraphin were getting toasted in the paint. And Lance has been basically nonexistent. But Fish isolates him as the problem and takes him out. Kid has no chance the way he's being used.
We can only blame the system for so much. Grant looks terrible in all facets man. He was a main reason that unit wasn't getting any good looks. Just wasn't doing anything. We can't keep throwing him out there for him to give us nothing, no matter who's fault it is. Something needs to change in how we're dealing with him. Either scrap the system or find guards who can run the system. Grant is caught in no-mans land.
What looks is Grant supposed to be getting guys in the triangle? We're not running plays for that.
Why is Grant out there then? Certainly not to shoot. He can't even penetrate much anymore because they're saggin off him more than robert de niro's testicles, and most of his layups are wild when he does decide to drive. Like I said there's no shame in a rookie needing some time, even if they're older. Grant has had plenty of chances. More than he has deserved.
He's gotten more minutes than every other rookie picked outside the lotto besides Larry Nance. Yet he hasn't been able to beat out Jose or even Sasha, and looks as lost as ever.

^Why workout vids are usually useless. Grant nailing multiple step backs and pull ups and bankers in a row like it's nothing. Shooting fast and with confidence. All of that gone now. My biggest problem with Grant is that he seems soft though. Physically soft, and more alarmingly, mentally soft. I don't see any dog in him. More like a puppy.
Also the first thing I did was bring up Galloway btw. He was terrible tonight, but he's at least an NBA player right now. We also know he's not a PG. The only reason he's starting and playing so many minutes is because Jerian stinks even more. It's not Jerian's fault we are relying on him so much though, now and in the future. That's on Phil for ignoring the PG spot. I still have hope for Jerian down the line, but he shouldn't be playing for the time being until he gets his mind right.
