Who says they want a first for PJ?

I think you misread the stein tweet. Suns are def holding out on a really good pick/deal for Morris. But for PJ, i think what stein meant was the suns isnt gonna be picky and make a nice fair deal.

3 first round picks (1 lotto probably) for a marginal upgrade at backup PF and backup SF? come on son

I just don't value the picks that much.

Do you get 2 players as good as Kieff and Tucker with the 13th and 26th picks? I would bet against.

Maybe, maybe not but you are also including Patterson who is already better than tucker and only marginally worse than Kieff and Delon who some say is good but we may never know.

I mean...he's not a PF but if casey wants to go small ball, PJ can most def play the position. He has the strength to play that position

I'm curious as to what they want. This isn't going to require first rounders unless it's our first rounder this year (not NY), or the Clippers. I would hang onto the Clipper one next year as it is known as the stronger draft, and our pick this year might be past 25 whereas Clippers may be early 20s in a deeper draft.

"Expect them to seek nice pick for tucker"

Sounds like they want a pick for tucker

he's 6'6.. but he ain't draymond so no. he'd be a backup 3.. if we face the cavs, having multiple guys to throw at lebron could be useful though

2nd round pick maybe? Something like Bennett/Delon/Powell + 2nd rounder

Phx always overvalue's their assets. I bet markieff doesn't get traded until 5 mins before the deadline if they do trade him at all

Well they are saying mid-march best case right? So if JJ is out for any length of time before that we are pretty thin at the 3. Don't know how long they will be able to ride out starting Norman. And with Carrol there are no guarantees he will be back for sure this year so that is another issue.

Still don't see this working unless we are giving up something very marginal as it doesn't move the needle that much.

Nice pick doesn't sound like a 2nd round pick lol. Phx just overvalues their players

NY pick is out of the question.

If the trade is just for PJ tucker, i think our LAC pick is also out of the question.

But IF the trade were to expand and include Kieff, our LAC pick or our pick will most def be involved. Maybe both. I dont know

I'm starting to realize that Masai Ujiri and Bryan Colangelo are very similar in terms of evaluating talent. Masai likes Bryan's core and his past players.

The difference is Masai stock piles assets, thinks long term and is patient.

BC was way too unstable, mortgaged the future for lateral trades/signings and always had knee jerk reactions. lol.

I'm enjoying MUs approach a lot more obviously :)

PHX is out of their God damn minds if they think we will part with a 1st rounder for a back-up SF. I'd rather toss that at Horford, even though I have my own issues with that scenario, too.

I know we can't possibly utilize all these picks we have, because there is not enough time or roster spots to develop them, but those picks are worth more to another team than to us, so we need to maximize our return on them.

I can't imagine Kieff doesn't come up.

He's on record as asking for a trade to Toronto or Houston.

For

Patterson, JJohnson, Delon, Our 2016 1st
