I think Orlando has the pieces to do a four quarters for a dollar trade.
Oladipo+Frye+Harris+1st for Blake+ bad contract (?Stephenson)

Frye plus Harris is a no-go? :D

Frye plus Harris for Blake is giving up wwwaaayyy too much on our end. I mean, didn't you read all the posts last year explaining how incredible Harris is? Clearly we can't trade him for anything less than Steph and a 22 year old MJ.

I would love the Magic to trade for Griffin. We'd have a superstar and nice pieces around him. Trading for him is the kind of move the franchise needs to make to get back to relevance. I like most of the Magics guys, although I'm not a fan of Payton or Fournier, but you add Griffin to this core and there's a playoff team. A Harris + Fournier for Blake and filler deal balances out our roster significantly for Gordon, Oladipo and Hezonja's growth and fixes that logjam we have at the wings. It also fixes our superstar and power forward issues. It's a win-win for Orlando.

The Clippers are only going to trade Blake for another star, which probably won't happen, so they'll likely keep him. They're in win-now mode with Chris Paul. They're not going to trade a star with multiple years left on his contract for young players (i.e. rebuilding assets) because of a two-month injury.

Pretty much this.

Under the premise that Griffin does actually become available, it is a more unique situation than most. Typically, when you see a big name star being traded...the team trading him is looking to rebuild. That would not be the case for the Clippers. They'd be looking to give CP3 a final push for the end of his prime. Therefore, they would be looking for guys that already contribute big and fill their needs.

Harris is a guy that can contribute but there is no doubt in my mind that the Clippers would be able to find a better deal. We have a solid offer...but I don't see it even being in the top 3 of what they would get offered.

Hearing people say they wouldn't trade for Griffin is like them saying they wouldn't want Cousins. It's unbelievable people want to keep a team full of players that can't even sniff a .500 record for the season over potential MVP type players. It might not be doable but to hear no from folks even if it was a chance is baffling. I'd give up any of the young unproven limited players right now. Multiple of em too. This team isn't good by a long shot with these players man.

I'm all for Blake but Harris and Fournier isn't enough is it?

Maybe Harris/Fournier/Frye and the Lakers pick

For Griffin and Stephenson

Payton/Watson/Napier
Oladipo/Hezonja/Marble
Gordon/Stepenson
Griffin/Nicholson
Vucevic/Smith

Gets them out of Lance's deal, Frye spreads the floor with Jordan and it gives them depth

Rumor has it they discussed a trade with Denver? Gallinari being the center piece I'm assuming. They're looking for proven vets most likely.

To agree: virtually any player would be on offer for either Cousins or Griffin. Keeping Payton and Vučević to acquire either would thus be very, very tough. But if it could be done, it would be done.

yet another report says
Faried Gallinari Barton and 1st isnt enough and they laugh at that offer
imagine what would it take from us... we would have to trade whole starting lineup and it still woudnt be enough :)

Report saying a deal with Philly was discussed. Would be a surprise for LAC to pursue that as Philly has no win now pieces.

I like this trade (We get a superstar player) plus we can further tank with BG being out 4 to 6 weeks plus whatever time he misses for his incident with the trainer staff in LA.

I would also trade for another superstar player with our lottery pick along with one of our assests on this roster, Westbrook anyone? (Oladipo and Payton plus lottery pick for Westbrook)

C-Vucevic
PF-Griffin
SF-Gordan
SG-Hezonja
PG-Westbrook :D

The only way the Magic do this is if they send DJ over in the trade too...

Griffin's defense is just as limited as Vucevic's.
