I mean I play fantasy with some of my boys and I drafted him cause I knew he is always slept on and he was coming off injury. Got him on a steep discount and knew he would come back strong.

I just couldnt wrap my head around any package that we could offer for a player his caliber without really mortgaging our future. Prob best to just let that one ride out.

Melo, I still can't believe you're declining this fast, you shot horrible tonight (again) but show me you still have got it, I still believe in you.

Realistically we are not too far from Detroit. Better PG and away we go. Gallow is legit but not a PG.

Very concerned about KP.

Melo has a heavy burden but a game like this, he seems less than he once was. Can't go 4-18 and pull your team to a big comeback. He came up short.

Fish lost but at least they keep working.

At least we know where the Knicks are at. They are a below .500 team missing 2-3 vital ingredients before they are back in the playoff chase.

The question is, how will the Knicks find a way to land those significant cogs?

Yeah, that's how I view it...we'd have to give up ton to get him, and even then it might not be enough since many teams could beat our offers if they really wanted to. Maybe if we had a 1st round pick this season to offer instead of one all the way in 2018 we'd have a better chance, but I don't see us pulling off a trade for him at all.

I love Jrue, man. He's my favorite PG who's not a star. It sucks that his last 2 seasons were done in by injuries. It's good to see that he's been looking healthy so far this year.

Triangle doesn't need a PG though :banghead: :noway:

I wish we'd just scrap the triangle. I've been giving it a chance, but I'm not a fan of whatever version we're trying to run. I hate the slow pace that we play at

Fisher needs to be fired. Like Asap. Shorter rotation we come back sasha plays and quinn plays we loose. I mean like its common sense at this point.

Robin Lopez had 26 and 16 against Drummond tonight. If we had won...he would've been deserving of the game ball.

Melo really REALLY needs to add a floater. His drives are just comical now. Also never seems to make a clutch shot anymore, besides that one time.

KP has fallen off the planet. Send Matt Damon to find him.

Gallo is awesome. PG or not just keep starting him. Who cares at this point, because he's earned it.

AA made shots.

RoLo was a beast.

Lance thinks hes good.

Grant DNP. Needs to develop Reggie's mean mug.

Jose and Sasha.........

Pick and roll.

Is it just me or do we look so much better running the PnR?

What I don't understand is not mixing it up more. In some of our best wins, we used both the triangle and the PnR as primary options.

What sucks is that Kerr essentially created a hybrid offense off those two... What could of been.

can someone explain something to me...

knicks were up 2 and stanley johnson drives to the basket and doesn't hit rim Bynes is there for rebound and LT slaps it out of his hand (not changing possession). 8 seconds were left on the clock. Time out detroit.

When they came back from TO the clock was set back to 14 (like someone kicked the ball). That was the play Tolliver ended up hitting a 3 with the clock running down.

There was something really fishy about that. Either it hit the rim somehow and the clock goes back to 24....of it stays at 8. No reason for it to go to 14???

Why are you so sure phil's gonna fire him? I'd say we're stuck with him for another season at a minimum.

DUDE! I saw that also and at the time was like eh whatever.. Then, of course, Tolliver hits the three..

Maybe the Knicks didn't realize how much time was left because they doubled Reggie and thought they had him, but one second to early.. Life as a knick fan man.

If Steve accepted the coaching gig here and insisted not running pure tri just like what he did in GSW, would Phil allow it? If yes, why prevent Fish from modifying the offense as he sees fit? Why insist on running it fully?

If we did what we did in the second half with a semi competent point guard we could be the 6 seed. i'm not even talking Jeff Teague. I'm talking MCW or Brandon jennings...
