Fisher isn't prevented from doing anything.

By Phil and Fisher's own admission Phil has been pretty hands off with the head coach.

Went to sleep in the first half and gave up on the game like I thought they did...

It's nice they came back but I'm pretty much over this moral victory BS.

At this point it's: did you or didn't you win? Win or STFU and GTFO

Then why not run PnR with more regularity then?

You can't tell me with a straight face that there haven't been 5 games we've lost that were winnable. I predicted 40-42.. we're talking about 5 effing games. I can easily name 5 that we should've won if we had a competent coach running a traditional system. Their reasoning wasn't systemic.. it was about personnel but not getting to 40-42 wins is going to be for systemic reasons. This game alone probably goes differently if we start fouling Drummond when every else starts doing it.

I took my gym day off today to watch this game and stopped watching at halftime. Can't believe how flat we came out, where are the vets on this team that let this happen? This was big in terms of playoffs and now 4 wins are a lot to make up with only 30 games left.

Did Calderon quit on basketball, cause he's completely ineffective. He was supposed to be a solid vet PG but has been trash all season, why is he getting a pass and still allowed to start?

We're basically sellers at the deadline with nothing to sell. This off-season Phil needs to land a big time player or trade Melo.

Anyone notice how the refs gave the Pistons an extra 5 seconds on the shot clock after Tolliver started bleeding and then hit the 3 with 2 seconds on the shot clock? It was blatantly obvious. They had 9 seconds on the shot clock and then it goes up to 14, there wasn't a foul called to make it go up to 14. There was no explanation for that and killed our momentum after we just took the lead.

Phil certainly did cause he left us with no other options.

http://www.nba.com/knicks/phil-jackson-explains-trade-updates-melo

“He’s got great control of the ball, pushes the ball up, accelerates it up the court. He’s a very good 3-point shooter. He organizes a team quite well. We anticipate he’ll fit in with what we’re trying to do,” Jackson lauded.

He's shown zero vision and we play a slow tempo since he can't push anything. Lopez had his down games, KP is a rookie so can't expect him to be consistently good but if you watch this team it's obvious our main weakness is PG and all due to Mr Calderon who management put their faith in.

Fair, but there were also 5 or so games we had no business winning either, so it all evens out.

35-40 win teams lose winnable games. It's just what it is. Doesn't matter how traditional the offense is or what not.

I don't care how many points you have scored in this league. Melo heat checks are just unacceptable during a run. I don't care who you are, pull up shots in the middle of a friggen run are not acceptable. I'm finding it so easy to see why so many NBA fans hate Melo.

I guess no one noticed the Pistons getting extra time on the shot clock for no reason at all.

I'm cool with you but this is a ******* loser mentality. Not showing up to start the game is a huge sign that we have no leader. Yet you're not mad. FOH

This system is no good for either of them; They would be neutered.

Without a Kobe, MJ, or Lebron...this system is suspect.

They need to run more PNR. That's how they came back.
