Yup, it's all the GM's fault, while he lauds Booker, the result of our GM. Charles actively tried to get the GM job last go around. I'm sure he thinks he still should be Phoenix's GM.

Sir Charles was 99% right in his tirade , and had the balls to call out the FO clowns. Especially the part about the pickles on the nacho cheese ad that you could buy nosebleeder seats and move down to courtside and no one would care. We as fans deserve better than this sorry product, and most only attend home games to watch the visiting competion. Only thing I disagreed with was that Horny shouldn't take blame for his own demise. He definitely didn't deserve to keep his job. But the way he got axed left a sour taste. It happened at an inopportune time and was a premeditated way for McDunno to throw him under the bus and absolve himself of responsibility

To be entirely fair, McD stated he took full responsibility for the state of the team half a dozen times on that radio interview. To state that the Horny firing was simply a ploy to absolve McD of responsibility is very conspiracy theorist. The man knows he's on the hot seat, and Hornacek absolutely deserved to be fired. I like to give at least a shred of the benefit of the doubt when it comes to a man's character, so say what you will about the actual job McD has done, but character assassination is a low blow.

Of the 6 guys McD has drafted in the first round, 5 seem to be real core pieces. That's phenomenal and incredibly rare. Ennis is the only one who isn't,and he could end up a player still. Who knows, he's very young. Rebuilding was never going to be easy or quick.

Come on he's not a spotless choirboy. He stooped down to the same level and exchanged blows in the Dragic fiasco, remember that PR nightmare of a presser that tarnished this organization's reputation? Anyways McD only has another year left on his deal so obviously starting afresh will buy him some time, because his fate would have been tied in with Horny's if he hadn't cut bait quicker. Lets see if Sarver will give him enough of a leash to pick the successor, if Watson isn't the long term HC ( I like what I'm seeing from his so far)

Dragic deserved every single thing that was stated. He pretended to be a team guy who was fine so long as the team won, only to then demand trades to teams with no chance of winning. He ended up in Miami, but they were not on his initial list. He wanted the Lakers, Knicks, etc.

He's not perfect, no. But Hornacek was fired now of all times because this organization has reached a point where it's clear they just won't move forward with him. You could even tell the Suns were hesitant about firing him too, because of the assistant firing. Many people felt that Horny should've been fired way back then. Obviously McD cares about his own job, but to say that this move was all to save it at everyone else's expense cannot even be proven. It's pointless speculation that can only serve to stir up disdain for somebody by framing him as self-serving and conniving. Let's focus purely on what we can prove, instead of reveling in petty hate-mongering, shall we?

Hey Literal Larry, it was a figure of speech.

Dragic was every bit the team guy we could have ever wanted. The narrative otherwise is poppycock bruh. If you were a starting PG in the league and suddenly there are two other starting caliber PG's on the roster, which forcesdyou out of your natural position and having to guard wings - well then you'd be slightly irked say the least.

The guy was also very humble. How quickly ye forget he was willing to come back to Phoenix after the franchise and many of the fans quit on him after the 2011 season.

He did not stoop down in that situation. They defended themselves, but never took shots at Goran.

Chuck was just being funny at the Suns expense. He is now a comedian. When you are tanking, the media makes fun of you. Its humiliating. It goes with the territory.

I'm not saying he shouldn't have been mad. I'm saying his list of where he wanted to be traded to showed his true colors. Team guys who want to win don't ask to be traded to the Knicks and Lakers.

Return to Phoenix Suns
