Can picture him in L.A... but can also see him being spiteful as **** towards the Heat and signing right up the road lol. I think we should send out an offer. I wouldn't lose too much sleep if we didn't get him but wouldnt hurt to try.

I don't know why people are against him here. Bit of a headcase, but we need that.

- P.S, look at when the PG gets screened how the Heat play it. Either Bosh will come out and bump the PG and slow him down or their PG fights through a bad screen like Kaminsky set pretty well. Watch Whiteside defensively and then compare it to ours.

Yeah, I'm in on this idea. I'm willing to look past his immaturity. He has a bit of "Draymond" in him, and we could use some of that.

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=hgzev5g

-Draft Demetrius Jackson (terrific potential and C.J. Watson insurance).
-Resign Jason Smith and Nicholson.
-Go all out for Bazemore in free agency. Sign Brandon Rush for vet min.

Roster 2016-17

Vuc/Chandler
AG/Frye
Bazemore/Hezonja
Barton/Oladipo
Elfrid/Watson

Depth Chart:

Demetrius Jackson
Jason Smith
Brandon Rush
Andrew Nicholson

Reasons this works:

I absolutely love guys like Jason Smith and Fournier, but they are crappy rebounders for their position (especially Smith). With Barton and Chandler taking up their minutes, we have guys who are near the top of their position in rebounds.

Bazemore replaces Tobias' rebounding and defense while providing more floor spacing. He fits a drive and kick scheme better. He gives us a new dimension on both ends of the court.

With Barton and Bazemore, we can have two guys in the SL who hit north of 2 threes per 40 minutes on great percentages without sacrificing defense and rebounding the other end off the floor.

Chandler and Frye off the bench is +/- heaven. Throw in Hezonja, Dipo and Watson for a top tier bench mob.

We have a good mix of youth and experience. All our vets are high quality and we still have four guys under 24 playing significant minutes. Throw Barton into the equation and there is a lot of untapped potential with this group.

Demetrius Jackson is a much better insurance policy for CJ getting injured than Shabbazz could ever hope to be. Demetrius also has some terrific potential on both ends of the floor.

Key additions:

Will Barton
