My guess? He passes Reggie Miller 5 years from now. He will be behind Carmelo, so #20 on the NBA list (the one on the right).

I first watched John Stockton in the playoff games in 1988 when I was a Lakers fan. He was in his third year and he had over 1100 assists in the regular season. I'm not **** you - 1100 assists - that's almost FOURTEEN per game. Yeah he could score, but...

Stockton and Malone carried that team hard. Fun fact: Stockton would still be all time leader in assists even if he didn't play in his last 6 seasons.

Meh.

Wade is a much better player and even pure scorer then a lot of guys on that list. Total points scored is more about durability and health (and drafting age), something Wade never really excelled at (he's been good for an athletic slashing SG, but not super durable like most of these guys there).

His final spot is all about his health going forward, nobody can predict the future in that front, not even him.
