SSST. Small Sample Size Theatre.
Griffin is a great player. There aren't many great players. Imo, you don't trade a great player unless you have to.
He is supposedly under contract through the 16-17 season. What I don't understand, is why are teams like DEN, hypothetically, going to give up everything if they can't build a winning situation in next season with him. Is he that inclined to stay wherever he can get an extra year of max money or would he search for the best winning situation.
The length of his contract would worry me unless you had some understood knowledge that he will resign. Yeah he is worth a lot of assets... but the risk of him bouncing is real especially if some small market team overbids for him. Of course that threat of a non-winning situation could be fixed with competent player acquisition, so prolly won't ever happen here

I think a team like BOS could get him reasonably, they can offer a high draft pick, plenty of bigs, expirings and rotation players.
Nets pick+Amir Johnson+Sullinger+ Bradley for Blake+filler (lance?)
not sure if that adds up some salaries can be adjusted if need be. I think the chance at actually getting a good young player while CP3 ages. But this also kinda assumes maybe Blake would also leave outright should they not make the finals in 16-17'.
