At this point, losing is the best thing. We've got to lose enough games to convince management to become sellers at the Trade Deadline and not buyers. We may as well extract whatever value we can get from Dudley, Sessions and Nene so that we can tank now and go into the offseason with more assets.

I know EG's contract is up this year. Is it before or after the draft though?

I don't think it matters.

If the decision is to get a new GM for the future, they ought to can EG immediately, or at least after the Trade Deadline.

All Wall had to do was shoot that second FT the way he always does. He typically goes 1-for-2 in the clutch anyway.
Always remember, my friend: the world will change again. And you may have to come back through everywhere you've been.

Ted strikes me more as a "let his contract expire" type. That's why I asked.

Yes. But let contract expire doesn't mean you keep a guy around to draft a team and then let him go. If the decision is that this is EG's last season, then it makes no sense at all to have EG do the draft. There's no shame in announcing EG's "retirement" right now and begin the search for a new GM.

Frankly, I think the fact that EG hasn't yet been extended is pretty good evidence that this is his final season. If ownership wants to keep a guy around, they usually extend him a year early to avoid "lame duck" status.

Everyone needs to be held accountable on this loss. From the top on down. If they plan on winning the championship, they got to play like it, coach like it, get players like it...behave like it, and, oh, hey, you'll get fans who will cheer like it.

Why not let Wall beat guys like Walker & Isaiah Thomas up in the post? I hate how we never take advantage of matchup.

Lol :)
I need to see it soon

Also. If Beal was going to be on a restriction for the b2b then they should've brought him off the bench vs Philly and played 20. Then started him vs Charlotte while playing the 33 or whatever he played
