t is unbelievable how hard it is for some of you to stick to talking about the game in the game thread. Seriously guys. It's embarrassing reading through this thread.

I hope they are just kids still growing up.

Hornets will make the playoffs, I have been confident about it since the start of the season. I also knew for sure MKG would be back before the end of the season, but is nicely surprized he came back this early. MKGs early return will only make it sure that we will make the playoffs. As long as we are not the last seed, we have a good chance to advance to the 2nd round. I hope Lin will have a better playoff performance and get a long term contract here. Settling down at this stage of his career is important for him.

Girls aren't allowed to use the remote.

Your niece loses. Your son wins.

Argument over.

agreed

This was grossly overlooked during the game in the GT.

That was the highlight of the night from the announcers. Nearly fell off my couch with laughter when he gave Del and Steph a lesson in "Fonzie 101".

Amazing.

John Wall's heart does belong in NC.

He's from Raleigh, North Carolina.

Ahha, now I understand why you were so upset when I taunted an opponent that you had to taunt a Hornet.

I'm not from NC.

And this is why you Lin fans defy logic, telling you that Wall is much, much better than Lin is not taunting Lin, it is the truth.

Equating taunting (an opponent)/trash talking to logic isn't particularly logical, is it?

OK, my bad, then I guess that's not the reason, it's just random.

Thanks for the honesty.

Was there any word on if Big Al has any chance of playing this coming week? Would you start him with Zeller getting back in his groove starting lately?

He wants to play in the Bulls game, it's still possible I guess. But more likely after the break.

Since last time he came back from the injury/suspension he came off the bench, I'd imagine it's the same thing this time around.

Thanks. Hopefully he plays well and gets our bench back to the way they are capable of playing. I hope Hawes loses minutes and not Big Frank.

No problem. Al's gonna be of big help.

The first few games he was out the starters played pretty well, but after a while, it seems like they're missing him. The offense becomes predictable and one dimensional.

I can see that he could become the starter. Of course, the D's gonna suffer. Tough decision to make.

It's ironic that you followed this post with a post that has nothing to do with the game :D

And then a mod talked about girls and remote controls :banghead:

people having fun off topic conversations during thread thread =/= derailing. Our game threads have always been a fun place for Hornets fans to chat during games, mostly about the games, but sometimes just being silly. However, taking a game thread on a 5 page Lin specific conversation = derailing. Posting 30 times about how awful Kemba (or any other player) is during a game = derailing. Egging on bad behavior by pretending to be a fan of a player = trolling. Posting controversial statements during game threads for the sole purpose of creating controversy or to illicit a reaction = baiting. All of those bad behaviors were clearly on display last night in the game thread and these are the actions we aim to stop. We've already suspended a few posters for their behavior last night and a few more are on close watch. We will continue with this reaction until people fall in line.
