Bulls gave up 42 points in the fourth quarter to lose to Denver.

In potentially bigger news, Jimmy Butler went down with what looks like a serious knee injury. Read on twitter that he had to be carried off the floor. That would be a devastating loss for them if he's out for an extended amount of time.

The Spurs were up 72 - 26 at the half tonight over the Mavs.

Whoa.

Austin RIvers is out for 4-6 weeks, now it is Lance's chance...I always think the presence of Austin Rivers hinders the clippers' bench, particularly the usage of Lance....
joking aside, I still think Lance is pretty talented player, he is instinctual

On a short deal with an easy out if he acts up? Yeah sure.

He has a lot of incentive to be professional if he does come back. He won't get another chance if he flakes out, gets in fights, or fails a drug test again. I think giving him a one year, prove yourself deal would be a low risk, high reward move.

That said given that he's currently living in LA and has a business there I expect he'd want to sign with the Lakers or Clippers.

@SpearsNBAYahoo
Bulls say Jimmy Butler will miss the NBA All-Star Game with a strained left knee and will be out 3-4 weeks. East A-S will need replacement.

Guess we know now which team we'll be replacing in the top 8. There's also a decent chance Batum could be voted his replacement. I'd be happy for him but I'd also be just as happy for him to rest during the break.

Seriously, it should go to Kemba. 20PPG on a team at .500, carried team thru injuries, career best in TS%.

Other candidates:

Kyrie Irving - missed half the season, Kemba has better stats across the board, except FG%.
Reggie Jackson - Detroit already has Drummond. Does Detriot deserve 2 All-stars while Charlotte gets 0? Reggie and Kemba have similar stats. Kemba with more points, rebounds, steals; Jackson with more assists, better FG%.
Pao Gasol - 17/11, would give Bulls a representative in lieu of Butler.
Nik Vucevic - 17/9, hard to make a case for Nik over Gasol, especially with Magic struggling so badly recently.
Nic Batum - the toe injury killed his chances, dropped his PPG and FG% down. Kemba more deserving so far.
Hassan Whiteside - 12/11/4, do the Heat deserve 3 All-Stars? Hard to argue his case when Heat are typically better with him off floor.

I don't agree with anyone from Bucks, Nets or Sixers getting in due to record. Simply not good enough. That rules out Giannis, Monroe, Middleton, and Lopez.
