Reggie Jackson is a scoring PG, yeah I would like a few more lobs to Andre but thats what he does is score. My biggest problem with Reggie is his awful defense its a bigger problem then his passing. The more and more I watch the offense the less I blame the players and look at SVG.

????
WTH brut. SVG? really, there's a reason why sometimes our offense looks unstopable and sometimes looks like the most boring uncreative offense. The difference is the ball handlers decision making after the pick. RJ has regressed since last season.
1.) He sometimes seals his man effectively and gets the edge however doesn't attack the lane letting his man get back in front of him (i believe he's looking for a step back but its never there)
2.) When he does decide to get in the lane, he doesn't force the opposing big into a decision nor does he recognize the wingside help and subsequent open shooters. He also does the no no of picking up his dribble.
3.) Every game there are at least 5 lob oppurtunities he just blantantly misses
4.) In transition he hesitates to throw the outlet pass that IS there but he doesn't risk it. Jennings does
5.) In 52 games watching him run countless PnR, i can say RJ's mentality is Score:Lob:Pass. He's trying to score and using his teammates as bail outs as oppose to manipulating the defense to get his teammates open looks.
6.) Totally agree wth you on defense. It starts at the point of attack

He's 13th in assists - 10th among PGs. Same APG as Curry, Lowry, and I. Thomas.
if you are a ballhog, you could have good assits numbers. allen iverson assists number is not bad but he was terrible as a point guard. billups or curry nevers had 9 assists per game year but they set the offense, they see the mismatch and hot hands. point guards should be a floor general not a ballhog.
Sorry for my poor english

Am I the only one who doesn't think Curry is a great passer or "floor General".

I prefer him to have the ball that much personally, because he takes mostly high % shots in the paint and is our most efficient scorer, and the guys around him are mostly average inconsistent jumpshooters.
If Reggie was mostly a jumpshooter, I'd agree with you, but I can't complain about a guy who lives in the paint having the ball too much when he's one of the best in the league there (and has the league leader in putbacks to clean up his misses).
If we had a bunch of stars around him and he was dominating the ball too much, I'd agree, but not going to complain about him not passing more to our inconsistent role players.

He learned behind this guy...
Thing is, Russell has now transformed his game where he's now a night in and out triple double threat. I'd easily call him one of the best passing guards in the league right now.
I agree with you. I remembered seeing this picture in the past and thought it was funny. Perhaps appropriate with the words for the post I quoted.

Oh for sure. The biggest knock on Russell like 3 years ago was his inability to pass and take stupid shots. Now he's playing so much smarter which makes him a triple double threat now.
Reggie definitely learned behind Westbrook back then and it shows both good, bad, and ugly.
