As long as Wade, Bosh, and Goran are healthy I'd be confident. Wade's only missed 3 games, if he can go into the playoffs feeling good I'd consider it a huge success in comparison to years past.

Skolnik just said on the ticket that Wade wants to get a deal done early in free agency and it will be a 3 year deal a lot lower than his contract now.

Not really he really only thinks Ryan Anderson is only real player the Heat should go for.

It was alittle bit of both. I guess Barry Jackson talked to Wade yesterday and that's what he told him. Apparently Jackson is writing an article about it

I'm guessing if he gets more years on his next contract, he'd be more willing to take a lower yearly salary. That being said, $10mil/year still seems low, especially with how he's played this year/the cap boom happening this summer.

Also, when I was listening to Ethan's podcast, he mentioned Wade has a deal with Li-Ning that pays him significantly more the longer he plays in the league. I guess that's a factor too? :dontknow:

more like 45 at least imo

It makes no sense to take 10 mil just for the hell of it, especially when he turned that down last year and is playing up to his current contract.

The Warriors have 8 players who are shooting .370 or better from 3 on 50+ attempts. The Heat have 1. And he's out for the year (T. Johnson).

He may not have a choice. His cap hold may force either a quick deal or the Heat to renounce his Bird Rights.
