Don't watch a lot of German football, but I love the directness of Dortmund's play. Maybe a shade of offside about Reus' goal but he deserved it after that lovely backheel that started the move in the final third.

Well, this probably would've been a bit less offensive minded game if Dortmund didn't score after five minutes.

But Stuttgart is not the team that can go for park the bus tactic anyway.
They have a relatively strong offensive lineup. Kostic and Didavi are incredibly talented players. But they are also very lazy at tracking back which often leads to holes on defense. Also their defense and defensive midfield is not particularly strong. Park the bus tactic or not they will not keep a clean sheet anyway in most games.

You weren't kidding with that analysis, that was some suicidal defending. I get that they were pressing for the equaliser, but man.

Haha, Dortmund has played like this for some time but Tuchel has amplified it.

I hope DFB finds a way to fix the SF draw tomorrow.

A Bayern - Bremen cup final would be absolutely dreadful and more one-sided than the Schalke - Duisburg final in 2011. It's not good for German football's reputation to have a cup final that ends 6-0 or 7-0.

Instead let Bayern draw Bremen in the SF and spank them and then meet the winner of Dortmund or Hertha in the final. Then you'll have a great storyline no matter what for Guardiola's last game in Germany.

Ilkay, Hummels and Tuchel let BVB move the ball forward so lethally, but this was true under Kloppo to. IMO the biggest change in this year's BVB is in how well they play against teams that park the bus against them. They now have the patience to let Mats, Weigl and Ilkay control things until the oppositions pressing opens some holes for the front 3 to exploit.

Also worth pointing out about this match that Stuttgart didn't press very well or with great energy; and their backline is very bad. With them also needing an equalizer almost all match; BVB where always going to have an easier time slicing through them than they face in most league games.

Or maybe because he realized there's no chance he'll keep them up and it's easier to quit now so you avoid getting relegation on your CV.

To say a coach who took over Stuttgart in relegation trouble and saved them twice in two years is afraid of having relegation on his resume is straight laughable.

One of your worst statements ever here. Even worse than that HSV have a chance at the UCL this season. :lol:

Fans have to do deal with it. Why would clubs lower the ticket prices when the stadiums are full every week(and the atmosphere is decent as well.)

If you owned a restaurant and it was full and booked every night, would you lower the prices?
