Reportedly, the Hawks Front Office agrees;

According to Kevin Arnovitz and Brian Windhorst of ESPN.com, the Hawks were offered George Hill for Jeff Teague but politely turned that deal down.

If the Hawks are indeed seriously interested in moving Teague, they’ve now begun to make a price for him public. It will take more value than what George Hill presents to make a deal happen, which only seems to further suggest that Atlanta is hot after a deal.

Read on Twitter

That's a nice young piece to add to our farm system. Get him in our Daily Vitamins and improve that 3-pt shot.

I'm not sure a Oladipo - Schroeder backcourt is much better pairing than a Oladipo - Elfrid backcourt, but at this point just adding a player of his caliber is a win. I'd be more than okay including a 1st rounder (ours or Minnesota's) in order to make this happen.

Though, trading Teague in the division will be a tough pill to swallow.

Which side says no to Teague/Horford for Oladipo/Harris?

Hawks.

Our front office undoubtedly values Oladipo. But Harris is overpaid, inefficient, under-producing.

Giving up our two franchise mainstays would, hopefully, be enough to acquire a more proven player in addition to a young prospect.

...Tobias stinks.

Orlando gonna have to offer more than just Victor. I am talking about package of him and Gordon.

Hell no. We are not trading any of our bigs outside of Splitter who's not worth this anyway.

We need to be realistic here. You can't honestly thing Teague commands the value of Gordon and Oladipo.

and sorry, but you get laughed off the phone. Teague for Dipo is the best you would get. He doesnt have value for anything else thrown in, let alone Gordon.

Yeah you guys are nuts, Teague for Oladipo would be a HUGE MOVE for the Hawks. I would be ecstatic. Thats a good trade STRAIGHT UP, asking to add in other players you are OUT OF YOUR MIND.

Orlando fans, there is only going to be two real PG'S available of a high caliber in the next two seasons. Conley who is getting max and Kris Dunn who will be a top 5 pick. If you want Jeff, we want a lot. Deal with it. Don't troll us, just take it for what it is. Real GM doesn't reflect how NBA teams see their players.

Oladipo and Gordon is the deal we would like. Oladipo and Fournier or Hezonja and you got a deal ASAP. Don't like it, don't bother us for Teague.

Looks like Teague isn't going anywhere if that is the actual asking price since no one in their right mind values him this high with the exception of you.

Teague is a great tier 2 PG. Teague is tradeable NOW. You dont wait till hes expiring. If we could get Oladipo thats a HUGE get for the Hawks.

a 22 year old under contract , he would become your starting SG IMO or be a developing guard with a lot of upside. Teague has run his course here. If we got assets back in return like the #2 pick in a draft?

You guys are nuts, Teague isnt worth MULTIPLE people. Thats the mentality that gets this team stuck where it is

the only person doing any trolling is you.

There is going to be a ton of PGs coming through and coming up. The NBA has a PG surplus.

No its not. He wouldn't start. There is more to the game than athleticism and talent. You have to fit, you have the right size, you have to understand the system. This would be a pretty bad trade for Atlanta. Good by real GM Atlanta trade standards but bad overall.

O.J. Mayo has talent. Derrick Williams has talent. A lot of players in the NBA have talent. We not just going to trade an important piece to our team for talent. We need young players who are going to fit or someone with proven ability in a position of need, if that's not available than we will look at valued talent.

We want Oladipo and Gordon. We would love Oladipo and Fournier or Oladipo and Hezonja. We don't care what you want just like you don't care what we want. But if you want Teague, you better pay what we want. You trying to negotiate terms like it's a car. We got a prized PG and we will treat it as such.

You have 3 PGs on your team and an aging SG in Korver who is declining rapidly. Trading for a talent like Oladipo would be amazing considering you are giving up 8 million a year TEAGUE (WHO BECOMES AN EXPIRING IN 6 months) for a 22 year old under contract.

Why not ask them to throw in the deed to the arena while we are at it?

Prized PG? Teague is a decent PG, maybe top 15. But its not a position of NEED for us. We have DS and can sign a Vet to help him develop. SG/SF are the NEEDS for this team.

Orlando doesnt HAVE to overpay. Careful you dont get too greedy. The Hawks need change, the FO knows it, and moving a piece you dont NEED for a position you do need, makes total sense.

sorry, but you dont have anyone on your roster right now that could get Gordon. Teague does not have the value that you believe. I could see Teague for Dipo, Teague+filler for Harris+filler. But Teague is not Curry/Lillard/Wall.

Teague is a good PG, but at his best, he was a 16/7 a night player. Good but not great. Right now, Payton averages more apg than Teague does. 15 more PG's average more assists, 12 have more ppg. like i said, Good but not great. Trading Teague for Dipo for example fills a need at SG with a player under control for 4-5 more years.
