How is Towns not raw? He's not good defensively and offensively he's not that good yet.

He's not raw because he's polished. He's one of the best rookies in the past 10-15 years and you're calling him raw.

I mean in the sense that KP and Myles (who are also 2 of the best rookie bigs we've seen in a while) are raw I'd say Towns is raw. He's a clear superstar that's not even playing at all star level yet. If they meant raw in the absolute sense none of the 3 are even remotely close to raw (especially not Porzingis who's already a very good defender in the NBA).

Wait, what?

By not that good yet I meant he's not good enough to lead a top 10 offense even if he had the supporting cast for it (he'd have to settle for being the 2nd best player). Towns is a guy with every skill needed to dominate already but he isn't dominating.

Trey Lyles totally abused Dirk like veterans do it and in a way i rarely saw it before. He had a +14 in 14 minutes, being the x-factor.

Interesting article talking about the end of the 2015 lottery. Mentions Turner, Lyles, and Booker specifically.

And now a career-high in points and franchise rookie record for double-doubles for KAT

KAT is the best rookie and it's not even clsoe.

yeah, it didn't seem that close when OK4 played him. OK4 tonight stacked up as Cousins with a higher ceiling. but it is possible that KAT turns out to be that much better. Or KP may start shooting like Dirk. it's an unbelievably talented trio of bigs (and maybe more) that came out this year.

Turner/Booker/Windslow/Lyles/Johnson are balling as well

Portis/Russell/Muiday/Nance/Payne/Stein/Hollis-Jefferson also have the potential to be good players. Draft is stacked.

Well, a few games matching up doesn't matter much in the regular season, albeit encouraging in a vacuum. KAT is obviously the best rookie and he has a higher ceiling then Cousins does, imo.
