KAT's just a ridiculous talent. I really liked him in college but wow, who would have thought he'd explode in his rookie year like this. He has such a good head on his shoulders as well.

If his rookie season average (which is creeping up) was his ceiling, Minnesota fans would be pretty happy, 17 pts/10 rbs/2 blocks per game. That's even better than current Derrick Favors, who is an extremely good player. He's just turned 20 though and in his rookie year- it's just ridiculous.

What's his prime, 27 pts, 12 rbs, 2 blocks? (and not in a Kevin Love somewhat empty stats kind of way)

That's not better than Favors (remember Favors is a great defender on top of it all). KAT needs to go somewhere with that jumper. **** is unfair how someone so young and so big just doesn't miss.

As a LONG time Wolves fan (1989), I have never been this impressed by a rookie on our team. I feel lucky to have KAT on my team. Maybe lost among the game he had last night was the fact that he picked up 2 fouls 4 minutes into the game and had to sit. You can tell he's starting to lead this team.

Love me some Book. I really slept on him coming out of the draft.

Yep. So much more game than I thought. He's one of the guys hurt by going to Kentucky. If he had gone somewhere that allowed him to be more than a spot up shooter, he'd have gone top half of the lottery. Such an impressive rookie group this year.

I think its the court vision that's been most surprising for me. Never saw him put the ball on the floor at UK but there were some HS clips of him doing it when he was "the guy" so I didn't think he was incapable but there's levels to this ish as they say so that didn't necessarily mean it would translate. Knew he could shoot from anywhere and I knew although he would struggle with where to be at times he'd give the effort necessary on defense.

His patience and passing has been eye-opening though. I was thinking bigger Redick coming in and I know the Klay comps are pretty popular but I think we're dealing with something else here in Booker. He's a rookie, youngest player in the league, taking spot PG duties for a PG-less team right now and seems poised, calm, and looks to make the right play.

A kid with his shooting stroke at 19 publicly given the green light as the 2nd option and that handles the ball as much as he does would be expected to look to "get his" over everything else but he's making a lot of the "right plays" on offense out there. We may be looking at something different with this kid.

Every time he has a good game like this or makes some amazing play I feel like he jogs back down the court thinking "I keep telling coach to take the leash off. I don't know why he won't listen."

This kid has been good surprisingly fast. I thought we'd see this type of tomfoolery on the court around December and beyond in his sophomore season in the league. Figured he might need to make some adjustments to the speed and size of the league. Karl has apparently said "F all that" i'll just figure it out now. He's showing so many facets to his game and he hasn't put on the additional size that will come or been utilized in everyway he could be.

Once the full restraints come off its gonna be ugly and its pretty friggin hideous already.

Noel's likely going to miss the Rising Stars Challenge due to knee tendonitis, if they need a replacement then Booker seems to be the most likely candidate as he's already going to be there for the 3 point contest.

Wojo tweeted that out 10 minutes ago. Booker is the fill in

Whoops, lol, not sure how that happened. Saw Booker posts and knew Noel was going to be out... Well, that's good regardless, was annoyed that he didn't make it initially.

I'd have gone with Myles Turner, a center for center but still, Booker is a deserving pick.
