I know I should have moved on from the Spurs loss. I never expected to win - not really - not when I was soberly thinking. No. I wanted to win and I thought we could. Who am I fooling?

Anyway:

Interesting listening to sedano and gutierrez. And they were talking players being in shape. And they mentioned that McRoberts has never been in good shape and that is one of the issues the Heat have had with him.

Oh I can't wait for the trading deadline. Hopefully we move him and add some who can at least contribute

So Whiteside has been suspended for 1 game. Hopefully that puts his story to rest.

Lu's so interesting, I hope he finds some success on a team before he retires... Although that run in Chicago is definitely noteworthy enough

This is great. I'ma big fan of Luol, i really respect him as a player. Spite of all the criticism i love him on our team. I still stick to the stance that when we are true contenders he will be a vital piece. But who knows what will come of him in the offseason.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

Chris Bosh Treating All-Star Game Like It Could Be His Last

Image

Chris Bosh is treating this All-Star Game as if it will be his last one.

Bosh will return to Toronto where he played from 2003 until 2010.

"This will be the last year that I'm worried about it," Bosh said. "I figured I've had a pretty good run."

Bosh has made 11 All-Star Games.

"I mean, it's 11 times for me," Bosh said. "It's newer, younger guys coming up. It's getting tougher and tougher to make every year."

Bosh is fifth among active players in All-Star appearances.

"I think any time you don't make it, at least for me, you get disappointed," Bosh said. "I would have gotten over it fast and just utilized that time to do something else because it is work. It's work of the privileged. I get the opportunity to go out there, do some cool stuff, play in a great game. It's the best 24, 25 players in the world."

This doesn't sit right w/ me. Even Wade @ 34yo still strives to be in the All-Star Game. This comment kinda shows how soft Bosh is and it kinda indicates his lack of hunger. how the f*ck you gonna say it's getting harder to compete against the young players. Anybody remember that year in the ASG where Kobe was one of the oldest players but he came out there dominated and won MVP? That's called determination, passion and hunger. I swear this makes me want to trade this soft a*s dude for anybody w/ balls.

Another article about our lineups:

Here is the current data. Starters are -1.7 here. Replace Bosh with Winslow and they are 0.4.

Fit on this team might be too much to overcome, might have to fiddle with our line-ups to our strength's... which in largely is our talent.

To make use of our almost useless support (bench) offensively, probably best we try to attempt 1 in 4 out type of scheme to try an get as much value out of our "shooters" as possible in a scheme that would encourage them to shoot. Typically a starting line-up of Beno/Dragic/Green/Winslow(or Deng)/Whiteside... not pretty on paper but a better situation that helps us get more out of Whiteside/Goran and actually have a bench that could score. Would get more balanced scoring and defense on the bench and starting unit, probably wouldn't be a great team but more potential to be a good one with some balance.

... But in the real world, Wade being benched is not something this org is dated for... A defacto starting unit with Josh McRoberts is the best we can aspire to

I maaaade this thread already :nonono: All my threads are major keys to success :noway: Even made the Hassan thread. Didn't think that some of these things that are being counted against him currently would even be in play tho smh

You think benching Wade and Bosh is the most ideal scenario? I don't know, Bish...

A defacto starting unit with Josh McRoberts is the best we can aspire to

You're on point with this part, very on point :)

Financially/politically not very ideal but it gives us some consistent scoring off of the bench and bigger less conditional roles for Whiteside and Goran. Bosh/Wade could still close in what could be one of our most balanced options. 1 in 4 out is made for post players(Well "a" post player) and would make our deadweight offensively, a lot more useful imo
