What do you want Kobe's pose to be for his Lakers statue?

Great question. It's never occurred to me before, but man that's really coming up soon isn't it?

I think the one of Kobe standing on the scorer's table, the confetti around him is really the ultimate Kobe-moment. It was the culmination of all of his work, it was where he cemented his legacy.

Man, he's almost done.

How about a statue of him patting Gentry on the ass?

The best will still be Kobe dunking on d12 with the coward smelling Kobe's ××××. That way, D12 will be forever reminded on how he slighted the Lakers.

When he gets pulled from the 81 point game....and then maybe a caption on the bottom that has the date, and describes his stat for that historic game. I mean at Kobe's level, everyone has the rings, but there is only one other guy that has had more points than him in a game. Kobe's 81 is arguably more impressive than Wilt's 100 if you factor in pace too. What's funny is that he did it with a bandage on his finger, lol.

+1 on what Crazy said. ... ... Also should be Number 24 to be retired - I'd say 90% of people will remember him as number 24, the rest I doubt will even remember him as 8 ...

I was thinking this pick as well or the layup in the finals against howard (one of the most underrated shot of alltime, the degree of difficulty was off the chart) or the reverse dunk against minny and nyk.

Definitely the 81 point game pose with his hand in the air. #24 on the front of the jersey and #8 on the back.

I would also be cool with the on the table pose after we won in 2010.

I always liked a good jersey pop.

If not that, dunking on Nash or Howard. The championship celebration on the press table is epic but what really makes that picture is the crowd in the background.

In 5 years, Kobe should invite Howard to his HOF speech as well.

Kobe standing in front of the crowd with confetti. I can just imagine the statue and people taking pics of it in front of him. Kinda like the original scene.

According to your logic, Tim Duncan doesn't deserve any respect.

There is no one answer

Kobe should get multiple statues.

It has nothing to do with his statue, but I think that this vine encapsulates his impact on my generation. I know people who would probably do this in real life.
