All Star Weekend Thread

Post#1 » by fatlever » Fri Feb 12, 2016 7:29 pm

Figured we could use a thread to discuss the All-Star Weekend activities.

Any predictions?

Two Hornets will be there. Lamb is there to be a youth counselor and coach for the kids game held in Toronto at the same time. One of the Honeybees will be there for the all-star dance squad.

Muggsy Bogues is playing the celeb game.

Dell will be there watching Steph set Toronto on fire.

Bosh is out. Probably too late for another replacement though.

EDIT: Nevermind, Horford replacing, ugh.

What does Kemba need to do to be chosen? Is Wall going to be out also and that's why he didnt get picked after Bosh's injury?

It is blatant that Horford and Pau went over him.

the fact that we are 14 deep into the East All-Stars and still no Kemba is just ridiculous.

Is the first time they've done USA vs World in the Rising Stars Challenge?

I would assume if it wasn't this format, Frank probably gets in the game. But limiting the chance to basically 10-12 Americans for Soph and rookies eliminated him immediately.

It is okey no Kemba in All-stars. Have good rest and get ready to fight for the playoff spot. Next year, Kemba could show up in All-star / Charlotte with the chance to be the conference champion or better next season.

They did it last year, we had Cody representing the American team.

Give it up already! After being snubbed so many times Kemba should just give them the finger when they call.

And Wall brought a treatment person to Toronto with him in hope of getting better in time to play the ASG. i.e. He's not getting off the can.

I would love it if a guy got snubbed then when somebody got hurt he gave the league the finger when he was chosen as replacement.

I didnt watch the game, but how the hell did Elfrid Payton play 16 minutes in that game and come away with 0 points, 0 assists and 1 rebound. That seems impossible.

And Rodney Hood might be the 2nd best player in the USA team behind Towns and he was at the end of the bench.

Those Rising Stars uniforms are hideous, almost worse than the celeb game uniforms.

I dont even like to leave the house on days like today (40 Fahrenheit Charlotte). I'd probably just put a shotgun in my mouth if I lived in weather that cold.

Return to Charlotte Hornets
