Wait what? Center is the hardest position to fill. That's why teams are constantly swinging and missing with big men at the top of the draft. They also tend to have the most value, even if they suck. Why do you think Philly keeps drafting big men who CAN'T EVEN PLAY in their respective rookie years (Noel, Embiid and Saric). This narrative that Vooch is easy to replace really needs to stop.

Interesting read on how the Magic are misusing LI's Tobias Harris. His lack of touches in pick-and-roll is puzzling http://www.basketballanalyticsbook.com/2016/02/12/trading-tobias-

history has shown you can win with subpar offensive centers that play good to great defense. the opposite has not been the case. replacing Vooch would not be as hard as you make it out to be.

We are definitely misusing him in the offense. We have too many ball dominant players and the less efficient ones are taking too many shots away from the more efficient ones. The coaches need to be more aware of this and make the proper adjustments. Numbers don't lie Harris haters.

great article, puts into context backcourt defense and the impression of great defense they give.
