Yeah Dwight is just such an unlikable person that he has ruined himself in this league. Nobody wants the guy anymore at a premium. That is pretty sorry state of affairs for a guy who looked liked a sure HOF inductee when he was younger.

As much as I love watching Dwight's slow decline into irrelevancy, I'm willing to bet nobody is happier than this guy:

Obviously Trade talks are underway in Houston. I would say with the talent we have Dwight may bring a completely different element to what we have. Defense, boards, and in this scenario we would keep Vucc.

We'll be automatically in contention and one of the biggest teams in the league. With Vucc and his shooting we can spread everyone out and Payton would have a field day. This would put the Magic back on the National scene.

Dwight
Vooch
Fournier (Gordon)
Oladipo
Payton

Watson/Shabazz
KJ/Mario/Fournier
Mario/Fournier/Gordon
Gordon/Frye
Deadman

Just a thought when both the Magic and Rockets can use a change and we can bring Dwight back to where the World loved him. He has been hated for so long he would APPRECIATE it.

Wow. I am speechless after reading this. I swear to god. Hey let's bring back the a-sshole who is the sole reason why this team and franchise sucks and will never win a championship. Let's bring back the guy who single handling got our best coasch in the history of this franchise fired.

Jesus christ.

Depending on cost, id take him, hes still a much better defender than vuc and a rim protector and a 12-14 RPG guy

I wouldnt give up alot for him, but if the price was cheap id take him

Assuming the Magic could work out their differences with Howard (hypothetically speaking, it's never going to happen), the fear with Howard is his future health and/or decline in his physical ability.

He has played a lot of games over many seasons, and while still athletic, eventually age will take its course whether the effect be health or athleticism.

The risk isn't so much in year one or even year two, but what is going to happen in years 3,4,5?
Basketball is driven by three principles:

1) Movement 2) Application of fundamentals 3) Predictability
