The Official All-Star Break GT

Post#2 » by ATL Boy » Sat Feb 6, 2016 5:15 pm

Zach LaVine seems like a lock to win the slam dunk contest again.

Anyone know if Korver will be invited back to the 3 point contest? I would be surprised if he is.

I actually think Aaron Gordon is going to give him a run for his money. I remember watching his dunks in his Arizona days and a lot of them were absolutely vicious. Both are such explosive athletes.

And the 3 point contestants are Steph, Klay, Harden, Lowry, Middleton, Reddick, Booker, and I think Bosh?

I hope this is the year where LaVine pulls out his free throw line windmill.

But I didn't think so (in regards to Korver). Maybe another week off will help him get right for the home stretch of the season.

Kyle, Jeffrey, & Dennis turned down invitations to the 3 point contest and skills challenge. Kyle I imagine needs the rest, he's been non stop between surgery, rehab, plus the season, Dennis said he'll be back home in Germany, and Jeffrey probably just isn't interested in appearing a 3rd time. The Shooting Stars challenge was eliminated so Nique won't be there so all that leaves is Do It All Paul to represent.

Chris Bosh has pulled out of the all star game, Al Horford will replace him.

Very late to get a replacement, by Friday I'd think just go with more minutes for everyone else.

And have coaches and GMs have aneurysms that their stars are playing more minutes in an exhibition game?

The timing does limit the field though given that some guys aren't cutting short their trip to Tahiti to fly into Toronto but congrats to Al! It certainly will help his bottom line come the summer and whatever asking price the Hawks have in trade talks.

It's nice to have Al Horford part of AS weekend now that he has replaced Chris Bosh.

Which if our mediums would fare better in the skills challenge, Millsap or al?

Never in my life would I have guessed Kevin Hart could go toe-to-toe with Draymon Green in a 3PT contest.

If Brooklyn had lost one more game last season we could have drafted Devin Booker...

Millsap, he just has this flow and smoothness about him.

Or Myles Turner.

But now when the Celtics take over their pick, they capitulate into being a a high lotto team. Sometimes life just isn't fair.
