He knows what he has to do and he has the ability to do those things. His scoring might take a hit, but once he gets used to doing what he needs to do at power forward, he'll bring the scoring back up. Dude is proving to be more than just a one trick pony.

Nice interview with Okafor. Watch the video if you can. Okafor ends all the silly narrative that he doesn't want to be in Philly and loves the fans and city and organization. He said he heard the rumors about he could be traded when Embiid comes back but he wants to be with the Sixers.

Starters: Dunn, Stauskas, Simmons, Okafor, Embiid

Bench: Ish/TJ, SG, Covington/Grant, Saric/Holmes, Noel

That makes me drool if this happens

No spacing at all dude. And Simmons is a 4.

Such a hoaky communicator, but a good kid.

That interviewer was like Stewart Smally though. Lol!

I'll watch the tape again later but I thought Jah did a solid job on the defensive end, but again he had a horrible DRTG against the Kings.

Tell me that 3-ball he hit last night didn't look smooth and natural.

Seriously.

It was great watching him battle Cousins the other day, but two things that jumped out at me were that Cousins has a much cleaner jumper, and his situational awareness was an obvious advantage too.

Both of those things come from practice and experience, and Okafor has shown how he is continually improving throughout this season. I don't see any reason why he can't get there.

I think he re-drafted based with team needs in consideration. Basically saying Dlo is just struggling like Harden or Curry on their rookie year. DLo would have been a good fit with Noel. Jah is a bad fit in Sixers and would have benefitted with Al J's tutelage.

Andrew Sharp, he was the guest villain at the LB Lottery Party. He knows what he's doing, it's his shtick. Trey Lyles... Lol, that's trolling.

Yup, I was expecting him to showcase his shooting. And I really think he can hit that shot against DeAndre that would have won us the game. He seems to be able to shoot from the perimeter in his workout with the Lakers. He has good touch and shooting form to eventually be a good shooter. Draymond Green was once below 30% 3pt shooter.

And K love didn't even have it in his arsenal his first few years.

He did, but Randy Wittman would not let him shoot threes.

That small correction aside, I am again curious about Okafor's perceived value.

Would you guys trade...

Jahlil Okafor, Robert Covington, and Miami's pick

for

Ben Simmons (the first overall pick)

I am guessing that you guys would pull the trigger in a heartbeat, but I thought I would throw the hypothetical out there.

Yes. Specially if we had the second pick with Ingram. Simmons is a much better prospect and fills a much better need.

Yes but no team is trading out of the number one spot. No one is giving up Simmons.

That list is one guy's opinion. Andrew Sharp is a troll for the Sixers. I don't care want his re-draft list looks like.

Jah seems like a guy who responds well to criticisms. Long term all these criticisms are good for him. If he ends up with the Bobcats, he'll be Al J part 2. He'll just work on his strength at the post and try to hide his weakness in defense and rebounding.

With the Sixers he is forced to mold his game to be a much more impact player with how the game is played. He's adding different dimensions to his offense while learning how to play defense at both PF and C positions.

Personally, I'd rather have him know his mistakes and flaws than try to sugar coat everything and by the time he realized he needs to change, it would be too late just like Al J.

- Jah has been rotating much better on defense.
- I think jah defended AD as good as Noel (not saying much)
- I like that sequence where he switches mid-air from a floater to a left handed lay-up. He has been unsuccessful with the floaters the past two games.
- I like Jah's overall development. He knows his mistakes/flaws and corrects them quickly.

I so hope we keep him. Just question his ability to play with embiid
