In terms of draft position (next year of course) I think he'd be hard pressed to get into the first round. In terms of what kind of career he could have i'd say sky's the limit. Can pretty much line him up all over the field and create matchup nightmares.

It also depends on if he's going in to the draft as a RB or WR. If he has another year like he had this year though I think he definitely gets into the 1st round.

He's a running back, I don't think there's debate about his position.

He has a chance to carve out a Danny Woodhead type role IMO.

Woodhead and McCaffery are not from the same planet in terms of potential in the NFL. Christian has a chance to be a real threat at RB with a well rounded skill set with game changing big play ability.

A bigger Darren Sproles, with more threat as a rusher.

He plays with a similar demeanor to Edelman's, I am not saying that he is going to play wideout but he can probably play a hybrid role.
I think he goes 1st round for sure.

Interesting to read back on some of these comments about him now that he is a Panther. I'm incredibly excited to see how he pans out for the Panthers, if used correctly he could have a huge impact. I like the potential of using him in the slot, and trying out some dual-running back sets with him and Stewart in there.

I think that's a pretty reasonable ceiling for him

Westbrook is one of the most underrated NFL players of all time tbh

I saw a Curtis Martin comparison as well which is pretty damn accurate. Both guys overachieved given their size and stature...I have a feeling McCaffrey is going to do the same.
