Dwight should absolutely have his jersey retired. I get it, people hate how he was off the court and how he left, a total D-bag, no denying that. but If you judge him on what he did on the court he's clearly the main player in magic history. Shaq was the best ever but didn't play long enough for the magic. Dwight played many seasons for us like 9ish and holds major record for us. Points, Rebs, blocks, minutes, etc and he was defensive player of the year several times while playing with us and a legit MVP Canadate for us.

Imo you're absolutely wrong. Neither won a championship, even though both got us to the finals. Both were monumental A-holes in the way they left, and plenty of other stories that were swept under the rug to cover up their transgressions.

I say no to both, because, all things equal you say yes to one, and you're obliged to say yes to another. Then you've immortalized the top 2 centers in history to not only lose in the finals, but then bolt, and embarrass the franchise for decades...

I was ticked at Shaq as well until he was at least consistent about it and gave LaVine a 9 as well on that dunk. It's TMac that I'm annoyed with now because he screwed him on the last one along with those other 2 clowns at the end of the panel.

That being said, no, I would not retire his jersey, at least not yet.
