Better chance we retire AGs # than Shaq's number.

You guys are worried about his scores from last night? What about friday night when he was talking up Mario until he learned he was on the Magic then he was like "Oh".

Didn't see that, but Shaq burnt the bridge (once again) with those scores last night, he didn't give Aaron 1 9, he gave him 2. Aaron wouldn't have won anyways, the league was already set on making Lavine the winner - Aaron just showed the world why he's so special for us, sky's the limit for that man(kid?).

If #8 gets retired it is for this Orlando Legend

Dwight should absolutely have his jersey retired. I get it, people hate how he was off the court and how he left, a total D-bag, no denying that. but If you judge him on what he did on the court he's clearly the main player in magic history. Shaq was the best ever but didn't play long enough for the magic. Dwight played many seasons for us like 9ish and holds major record for us. Points, Rebs, blocks, minutes, etc and he was defensive player of the year several times while playing with us and a legit MVP Canadate for us.

Imo you're absolutely wrong. Neither won a championship, even though both got us to the finals. Both were monumental A-holes in the way they left, and plenty of other stories that were swept under the rug to cover up their transgressions.

I say no to both, because, all things equal you say yes to one, and you're obliged to say yes to another. Then you've immortalized the top 2 centers in history to not only lose in the finals, but then bolt, and embarrass the franchise for decades...

hell no not after he **** aaron over like that
aol4532 on bill russell
I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

I also remember he later added ''I gotta come to Orlando to see him then'' when he found out he was a Magician.

I was ticked at Shaq as well until he was at least consistent about it and gave LaVine a 9 as well on that dunk. It's TMac that I'm annoyed with now because he screwed him on the last one along with those other 2 clowns at the end of the panel.

That being said, no, I would not retire his jersey, at least not yet.

Let's retire 14 first, in honor of our mighty mouse.

I'll fully back this plan if you agree to retiring 25 first.
