I for one am down with that. It can't get any worse, so why let teams screw us? We don't have to win, in fact sucking is our goal as of today!

There is really ZERO reason to keep Telly...sure get the best offer, but there is no reason. Tucker is debatable....if we want that depth a the 3 next year and guarantee his final year and see if we get a better offer in the off season or take the best offer next deadline, then I could see it, but he probably has more value now, when a team can get him and as the option of keeping him another year. I think he is likely to get moved. I think Markieff is fairly likely too.

I do think McD will play hardball and won't give Markieff away for less than he perceives is decent value and will wait until the summer though, unless Sarver demands he is gone no matter what. I still think someone puts a pretty good offer our there though and 90% chance Markieff is moved, and about the same odds for Tucker.

Telly should be more like 100% because I see no good reason to keep him. Leuer you could argue the same, but perhaps we start him the rest of the season and tell him we would like to re-sign him and he can be a rotation guy next year (hopefully we get a starter quality PF with a higher upside in the trade or FA and also draft one)
.

I agree with you on this, but here is the reason why you keep Telly; you do not want anyone to think that you as a GM can be had, if so, you will never win in trade. McD has to let all suitors know that he will never be a desperate fool and when you come with a trade, you come correct or don't come at all.

I hope you guys understand that is why you have to say no sometimes, it may hurt today, but it will help tomorrow.

We don't have a 3rd All-NBA player to sell at bargain this year.

Riley actually gave us 2 first rounders for the rights to grossly overpay Dragic. That is hardly a bargain.

But Tucker is definitely a top 25 SF and Markieff this year is at least a top 50 PF, so there is that.

Only going to get a top player because they're temporarily considered risky.

Don't know if its true but Broussard reported that the Nuggies turned down the Clips offer of Griffin and Stephenson for Gallinari, Faried, Will Barton an Jokic. Smart decision by them IMO they would have gutted their roster and didn't give into the temptation to make a splash just to boost attendance

Clippers offer Griffin for either package, what do you choose to give up (ignore any further fillers needed to match salaries):

Warren, Len, Goodwin and 4 picks

Knight, Chandler, Tucker, Morris

We are at a huge disadvantage being in the same division as the clips. Teams generally shy away from trades within the division.

Basically I'm asking if you trade for a ready made All-Star, do you give up your current pieces or future pieces.

If the Clips made that offer, then we don't have what they're looking for. But a three-team deal? We might be able to pull it off. I wonder if the Clips would have any interest in Markieff.

Warren, Len Goodwin, Morris and FOUR PICKS??? That is nuts.

Yeah, but right now I think we're turning into the skid and just looking to unload Kieff, PJ and Telly. They can help a competitive team out, but aren't going to do much for us.

I mean, people want to get rid of Knight and/or Bledsoe, but that won't be likely by the deadline. Summer maybe or midway through next season, but I highly doubt either is moved in the next few days.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Seriously, I'd do that trade in a heartbeat, and I actually like Knight.

I don't like Blake, but if I could keep Bledsoe, Booker, and Len, plus our pick for this year of course, I'd roll with anything else.

Bledsoe
Booker
Ingram
Blake
Len
