Funny Celtics finally figured it out DLee has no valve. GSW fans figured it out long ago.

Clippers Offer Blake Griffin To Nuggets For Gallinari, Faried, Barton, Jokic

So basically, the entire Nuggets core for Blake "Pussy fist" Griffin? The Clippers are delusional.

They should be able to physically dominate people but you never know if they get some kind of freak injury like that, which could affect their earnings potential. I would be blown away if Doc trades Griffin. Now if the owner is mandating it then oh well. But Doc trading Griffin sounds idiotic.

Barton would help the Clippers tremendously, but not by losing Griffin. The winning they are doing without Griffin is fools gold.

This was a funny one. Normally you'd always be willing to trade quantity for quality, getting the best player in the deal. But the Clippers are just asking for SO much here. I wouldn't do it if I was Denver, either.

The first thing I'd like to mention is that this was reported by Chris Broussard, so we have to take it with a huge grain of salt.....

I was listening to SiriusXM this evening when the report came out (it may have been a re-airing, I'm not sure, but as of when it was recorded they were just hearing about it) - they had Tom Byrne with Mike Dunleavy, and both guys thought the Nuggets should have taken the deal without even giving much thought to it, under the premise that they'd be getting the best player in the deal in Griffin. Their theory was that the reason the Nuggets said "no" is because they think Jokic is going to be a star, but they (Byrne/Dunleavy) thought they should do it.

I agree with the other posters here - that's a hell of a lot that the Clippers were wanting back. Faried and Gallinari are just a notch below All-Star level, Barton could easily be 6th Man of the Year, and Jokic has a heck of a future, it seems. I wouldn't do it either if I was the Nuggets.....
If I don't have anything funny to say, can I still have a signature?

Not to mention that Griffin bolts 1st chance he gets from Denver. No way he'd stick there in that smaller market after living it large in LA.

Suns want a first and a young player for Morris, another questionable headcase. Good luck with that.

Puhleeze no Channing Frye. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ crosses to keep him away. He is a shell of the former player he once was. Glad the Clippers might get him.

I have to admit yesterday was a great day hearing about DET getting Tobias Harris instead of the Clippers. Harris would've been the type of player they are looking for as he's young, can stretch the floor and shoot the 3-ball okay. Tobias = cheaper Barnes. Schadenfreude.

Frye's contract is a big issue. Cavs trying hard to get him, but prefer to move Love and Shump for Anderson and Crowder in a 3 way.

Harris was a trade idea of mine for Barnes. Clippers striking out, though they were able to ship Smith back to Houston.

So, who do the Blazers "sell" their cap space to? They are currently $14M below the salary floor. You would think they would be able to attract some expiring contracts along with draft pick(s) and/or young talent.

Well, they "sold" nearly $10M of the $14M to acquire Varejao and a conditional 2018 1st round pick in the trade with the Cavs and Magic. Slick money saving maneuver for Blazers ownership.

Pat Beverley on the block. Would like to get him for Ws, but not realistic.

Sounds like the Rockets are trying to get out from under the luxury tax for this season. Prior to the trade with the Pistons, they were about $5M over the luxury tax threshold.

I really like what Portland is doing. They have a rebuild going on, but are still winning and the future looks promising. They are going to have a lot of money to offer this off season.

Curious how long the Houston debacle is going to go on, until management holds Morey accountable.
