Chris Bosh may never play basketball again. Crazy, you have to feel for him. May have a blood clot.

I'd take a flier on Payne. Asking price can't be much at this point.

That sucks. I feel bad for him. If he is out again, I wonder if they might break down and rebuild before they begin to lose all their picks.

letsgosuns wrote:Am I the only one on here that has zero interest in Love? Sure I want to trade Markieff, Tucker, and Knight but I want to trade them for expiring contracts and picks. I am not a fan of Love. Never have been. I watch many power forwards in the league run circles around him and I do not want to watch them do it with him as a member of the Suns.
On the other hand, I would happily give up a good package to get Blake Griffin IF the Suns speak with him first and he says he would re-sign with the Suns if the Suns are willing to give him the hometown max.
I agree on both points. I dont not want Love, but would be ok helping facilitate a trade. There are 2 stories out there right now, one says that Cleveland wants another star in return for Love, that i find hard to believe as they are already waaaaaay over the cap, and because of how LeBron plays, it makes the 2nd "Star" player more of a role player and kinda kills what made that person a "Star" player in the 1st place (See Love).
The 2nd story is more in line with what i believe, they are looking to solidify their bench and add veteran experience for their playoff run, and value that over a star player or youth & draft picks. This is the situation that i think we could help with. We know they have their eyes on Tucker, im sure LeBron would be fine with Morris, knowing he out of anybody could straighten him out. I think they might be open to a Chandler/TT swap as well. Boston really wants Love, but all they really have to offer is youngsters and draft picks, which is exactly what we should be looking for.
Just a random trade idea based off of that: http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=zpsgqkg
That would include Bostons' pick (Nets) coming to us.
Cavs: Irving/Bledsoe/LeBron/Morris/Chandler ---- MoWill/Smith/Tucker/Varejao/Mozgov
Celtics: IT/Shumpert/Crowder/Love/Olynyk ---- Bradley/Young/Jerebko/Johnson/Zeller
Suns: Knight/Booker/Warren/TT/Sullinger ---- Smart/Goodwin/?????/?????/Len
Lee/Turner/Sullinger are all expiring. The only one i would give a 2nd look at is Sullinger due to his rebounding prow-ace.

Minny interested in Miles Plumlee hahahaha
If your saying a team is targeting Miles Plumlee, you know it's fake. Who the hell wants Plumlee.?
Plenty of teams want Plumlee. He is a back-up big that can produce and for cheap. Whats not to like about that?

Because he's entirely to blame for prolonging Len's development and his subsequent regression

This bench strategy is on the back of trying to match GSW depth, but I think Curry has lost 1 +/- this season.

So it's a pick your poison type of thing with Keif. Keep him to help secure a top 3 pick and keep this disfunction Alive (and pray his value increases) OR trade him now for the best offer and continue down the road to the top 3 pick and get the cancer out of your locker room.

Funny that article says exactly what I've said a few times...
but teams are starting to think the Suns could hold onto Morris past the Thursday trade deadline without a deal that brings back a player of value with a first-round pick.
The Suns could wait until the summer to move Morris when teams who have missed on free-agent priorities return aggressively into the trade market for the power forward. Morris' contract has three years, $24 million left after the this season, which is still on the low end for a player of his talent

Let's make it easy and combine the above. Adrian Payne, Martin, Bjelica, Minny #1 for Kieff, Tucker. Young player? Check; Pick? Check.
I do think that Minny could be a good trading partner for PHX.

So Woj says we want 1st round pick and Young Player.
No wonder there's been no deal!
On the other hand it points to a rebuild.

My only issue is Ryan is playing "car salesman" tactics with a room full of 31 other "car salesmen." Don't know that it will help his cause.

If I was another team and the Suns asked for a first round pick and a young player for Markieff, I would laugh and hang up.

Here's my thing, I think Ryan McDonough is seriously fooling himself if he thinks Keifs value increases after the season. It doesn't, I actually think Keiff loses value. Teams will fill their voids through free agency and the draft. Right now, teams want to make a push in the playoffs that's where Kieffs real value is.

I would absorb Pekovic or Martin's contracts and give Wolves Knight OR Bledsoe plus Cavs pick OR the 2019 Heat pick for LaVine.

The 2019 Heat pick is completely unprotected. That is like gold in the NBA. I would only include that in a trade for a player that is top five in the league.

Been coming to this board off and on since forever, not once that i can remeber either of these "insiders" been right....or even in the ballbark when coincidently all they prophesied is the ballpark.
"Mannnnn I’m like the guy that pissed this whole board off saying literally all year no Mikal, no Mikal in the KD trade."
