And really, we're not trading Tucker? That was disappointing news to hear.

He is still signed for another year. He could be used in a trade this summer or even draft night.

I cannot stand watching Tucker play. I think he flat out sucks. But I do not see him as a problem that the Suns must get rid of immediately. Especially since Warren is unfortunately out for the rest of this season and the team really does not have a small forward besides Tucker. If anything, Tucker helps the Suns lose games because he is so terrible offensively. And we all know how the Suns need as many losses as possible the rest of this season.

letsgosuns wrote:A Pelicans/Cavaliers/Suns trade makes sense on paper. Love has turned into a role-playing stretch four for the Cavaliers yet he is paid like a superstar. Ryan Anderson could provide the exact same thing for far less (at least this year). There were rumors earlier this season the Pelicans wanted Markieff because they liked the idea of him and Davis together. Plus Alvin Gentry coached Markieff during his rookie year.

Kevin Love makes about 20 million this season. Ryan Anderson makes 8.5 million. Markieff makes 8 million. Obviously other players would be involved. Eric Gordon is an expiring contract at 15.5 million. Knight makes 13.5 million. Each team has other players who have smaller contracts that could be used to get money right. Something like Knight/Markieff to the Pelicans, Anderson/Gordon to the Cavaliers, and Love/Fillers to the Suns could be what the trade might look like.

Been preaching this type of trade for a month now. The Cavs really are not using Love right - Kieff and Knight probably make them better. Or Kieff and Chandler (if they want a true defensive 5). The thing is - against GSW or San Antonio - they have so much money tied up in bigs who cannot play. I am not even sure Tristan and Love can play at the same time.

Houston also wants to move Howard - having Len and Howard really doesn't make sense. But Kieff and Chandler for Howard and CApela or Dekker works in the trade machine

driving home - after listening to Gambo talk about stick ball, stoop ball and MLB not appealing to the younger crown and than 15 minutes on the Cardinals and free agent pass rushers - they finally got to the Suns - and Gambo "didn't think Tucker would get traded."

Which tells me - PJ, you gone. I am sure there are teams willing to trade for Tucker. OKC would probably dump Augustin/McGary or a team like Toronto - Scola/Delon Wright. So, am surprised the Suns wouldn't try to go younger and strike with PJ. As PJ is a perfect guy at the deadline to get. Granted, this summer, his contract is only worth about half next year - so there is that too.

Haha. It's like 80% Cards talk even in the offseason-- so annoying. I still think PJ is gone. Not sure who Gambo's source is.

Cleveland’s growing interest in New Orleans’ Ryan Anderson bodes well in Boston’s seemingly never-ending quest to acquire Kevin Love in what’s shaping up to be a potential three-team deal that would include the Boston Celtics.

The particulars of the deal are still in the discussion phase, but the end result if it comes to pass would send Love to Boston, according to a league source.

Trey Burke for Lawson can be an steal for Houston in my opinion.

Please McD get that Brooklyn's 1st from Boston somehow. Only way I see this is sending Bledsoe with other veterans to Cavs and I'm absolutely fine with it.

I'll try one for fun although I find it extremely unlikely:

Clev out: Love, Shumpert
Clev in: Anderson, Knight, Tucker

PHX out: Knight, Tucker, Morris, Weems
PHX in: Love, Gordon

NO out: Anderson, Gordon
NO in: Morris, Shumpert, Weems

Add draft picks where needed. I think this helps all 3.

ESPN sources say Cavaliers have made an offer featuring Anderson Varejao for Channing Frye in an attempt to pre-empt Clippers' deal for Frye

Suns trade:
Knight/Kieff
Suns get:
Lee/Nets 2016 First

Suns clear cap space. Getting the Nets pick gives us 2 lotto this year

Cavs trade:
Love
Cavs get:
Knight/Anderson

Cavs get Anderson who better fits with the Cavs system. Knight solidifies the disappointing bench depth

Celtics trade:
Lee/Nets 2016 First
Celtics get:
Love

Celtics get Love for relatively cheap.

Pelicans trade:
Anderson
Pelicans get:
Markieff

Pelicans get a solid/cheap replacement for Anderson who is probably leaving via FA next year.

It kind of does.

I bet Frye would prefer this trade.
It would actually be a really good move for the Cavs

A lot of you are hoping for a love trade when we are literaly at the finish line for a 25% chance to get a potential franchise changing pick. Is Kevin Love going to turn this franchise around? Do we have the peices to surround love with? Does going all in for him enable us to compete with the spurs and warriors?

A-Men! Stockpile picks at the trade deadline and start the youth movement. Tank for the rest of the season. Build around Booker. That is all.
